I must say I was very intrigued by this novel's concept. I never read a Mafia-themed VR novel before and that caught my attention. As I was reading there were many things that made me stop and go hmm. For example, when we first meet the MC he was Civilian #3207. That made me wonder what type of world he lived in where the people didn't have names.
I was upset that he died just by helping someone, I literally shaking my head chiding him about playing good samaritan. The game itself looked to be very ********. The action at the start was wonderful.
I can't wait to see what the author does next in the gameplay. This will definitely be a fun read. :3
Mmm.
Personally, I don't think this is a great novel.
I don't like the personality of the protagonist, he's a liiiittle bit... how do I say this. He sounds like he's written by an author who isn't really socially adjusted. Reading the first few chapters, it definitely seems like the case.
A cashier won't ignore you just because you're a country bumpkin or a nerd, they may just be having a bad day, or they aren't big on customer service. And I don't know a single person who thinks it's loser-ish to spend a day watching movies, as not everyone is a party-holic. What I'm trying to say is, the protagonist is way too thin-skinned, and has too much of an inferior complex. The characters thus don't feel too realistic.
It tries to insert a comedic undertone, but the humor's just kind of flat. I just really don't know anyone who finds quirky comebacks that are inserted everywhere, funny. Also, the writing style is very *******. Too much "!!!" and ALL CAPS, among other things. Emphasis is done in all the wrong ways. If you want to emphasize a character's emotions, pour everything into descriptive adjectives.
It's not completely bad, compared to some of the fanfictions on this site, along with some of the female protagonist romance novels, but you can't say it's good either, especially since there are actually some really good works on this site.

I came across this book somewhere. And honestly, I didn't have much hopes for it but when I read first few chapters I got hooked.
Well done author! I don't read every kind of stories but yours is surely my type. Keep on writing! ✊

Seems pretty good so far. hopefully it continues after the writing contest is over but i can understand if its dropped considering your still working on your other book As well
Ps: make sure to take plenty of breaks in between writing. i would hate to see you burn out or start to fell stressed like some other authors have.
Thanks for the novel author
I kinda want to read a novel now where the MC does not give 2 sh*ts about his parents who mysteriously disappeared.
And as our MC never set out on his journey, the villans won and ruled the universe.
And due to the fact that MCs usually live in the noob village in the noob region of the noob country on the noob continent of the noob world, nobody cared to rule over this random backwater planet. And MC lived happily ever after.
(I mainly gave this novel 1 star because I am tired of MC searching for his parents. Those who like standard tropes will probably like this novel)
Mediocre and not in the good way.
Also how you finna have the book cover with the correct spelling of "conqueror" but have it be wrong as the TITTLE of the book LOL.
Now to the actual review.
Story:
The story is bland, it's nothing new. And even if it was made out to be a rehash/mix-match of all of the other similar "died then reincarnate as a godly abomination with a system", it's still bland. If there was an outline of this genre of a novel, this would sadly be it. With that said it might improve later on, but I would have no ability to know that as it is currently locked after only 18 CHAPTERS. And I would genuinely be surprised if anybody spends even their fast pass let alone god forbid coins on this novel.
And as far as characters and interactions between characters go, it sounds and behaves like you would expect of this novel...unrealistic and off-putting. And also oddly demanding as well.
I also understand that this "author" is not a fluent English speaker, but with that said, Grammarly is free and he/she would greatly benefit from such a service.
All in all, I would not recommend this novel, check it out if you so wish, but I would advise against spending your coins or passes on this novel.
Seriously I have been forced to write this review, even though I had only read 6 chapters... For what reason?
It's simple, its a good story but the author simply could not fully describe his thoughts (for me) and inconsistent with the use of words/terms/phrases, like the description of his parents, of having cat ears and tail but in the "Status" what was written in the race is that they are human instead of hybrid (human+monster) and one more the author said that hybrid is a slave for both human and demons, so how could his father become the mayor of a village?
If the author could just make a revision to the previously posted chapters before putting updates to solve the inconsistency of the story it would surely increase its quality and readability, and lessen my frustration
I was only able to read the first chapter, but the base for the story is promising. The banter between the friends is relatable, and their dialogue flows well, which, to me; is a good sign for future chapters. The bus Scene is
