sigh. this novel is like a face slapping one in how the entire world is formatted into making the mc look the best at all times. there's no substance here. ignore the cool concept of a puppet system, this mc is your generic Chinese mc with nothing special about him. the plot is for the sole purpose of benefiting the mc and making him look godlike and amazing at all times.
Non harem, translation quality good, complete non rushed ending with closure, a bit repetitive but not terrible, goes to new lands on power ups but brings along his people and doesn’t just leave them behind and forget about them like other stories they’re mentioned right up until the last chapter.
Overall I’d say it’s like a laid back lighthearted Coiling Dragon or Desolate era kind of world except here the MC never really faces a tough fight or experiences a terrible tragedy just constant praise and powerup’s and some comedy here and there.
Enjoyable entertaining wish fulfillment pretty much.

literally my only problem with this novel is how horrible the grammar is. And by that I mean that sometimes you can go like two or three paragraphs without seeing anything bad but other times you can read an entire paragraph and have to completely restructure it yourself in order to have it make sense. If you wanted those people that just likes reading on autopilot and doesn't really care what you read and you just want something to read then I'd say that where the grammar is right now to perfect go but if you don't then I would wait till the author fixes the earlier chapters and even later ones from what I've seen him some of the reviews and just clicking through them. The premise is pretty cool in my opinion but it's just hard to get past the first ten chapters if I have to constantly take myself out of the immersion of the story every like three sentences to fix an entire paragraphs worth of words because they're written in the wrong tense, the words are almost completely scrambled and sound like someone's blabbering in a language they don't know or just something similar. I'm sorry if this review seems really harsh but I feel like giving honest opinions is what can help some authors instead of just saying that the grammar is kind of bad because it would be an understatement of my opinion. If you end up fixing the grammar at all I will certainly come back and read this through but until then I don't think it's worth it because it's just too hard on the eyes almost it's hard on The Soul Man

I loved it. Certainly diferent, and the action scenes are very cool. Definitely one to keep in your library and see how it develops. I want to see if the prince falls for the maid or not.

The book quite literally broke its rules in the first ten chapters. The main character is suppo to be a slave of an organization and have a collar that detects the items they coll from killing enemies yet when he kills a bunch of bosses and gets a lot of loot the collar detects nothing
writing quality - quite good for a novel on this site.
stability of updates - very frequent
story development - the only thing done is mostly grinding for the most part (read up to chapter 26). the level up frequency is so fast that barely anything is explored at all. it just ends up as a 1) go here, 2) kill mob , 3) level up. repeat. if i could give this section a 0 i would give it a zero.
character design -up until chapter 26 character interactions are quite minimal and short given it has been mostly grinding or orders given, thus making every character seem 1 dimensional. 2 stars total. extra star for the mafia background which is different from what you normally see.
world background - suffers from same reason as story development. nothing touched upon. all we know is that mc went here got legend class, went there and trained. went there to dungeon, go there to train. no point in remembering places since mc will just speed past it soon enough.
its a story wiith a good premise but pacing is obviously an issue. level ups have gone by so fast that mc is past level 100 in 26 chapters and this spans only a few days since game release. perhaps it got better in the future, i wouldn't know because i am dropping this novel here. without story development or world background in terms of quests, the game is very flat and does not engage my imagination of different scenes. given that this game should span years, the fast paced leveling is broken and i dread what kind of levels will make sense years down the timeline. If you can stomache the issues or dont mind it, feel free to continue reading. i applaud you for i couldnt bear it.
