I need to talk about Huang Liang because this guy is genuinely chilling in the best way. He's not some cartoon villain cackling in the corner—he's the host, he's smiling, he's doing his job. But that line where he tells Shen Baizhou "This is just the beginning! Compared to the face-slapping coming up, this is nothing!"—that's the kind of line that should come with a warning label. The fact that he changed the presentation order last minute to put Shen Baizhou right after Gu Chen? That's not just competitive, that's malicious. And then the file corruption? Classic. He's playing 4D chess while everyone else is playing checkers. But the real relationship drama is between Liu Susu and Huang Liang. Liu Susu is clearly on Shen Baizhou's side—she brewed him coffee, she was nervous for him, she saw the order change and her face "darkened instantly." She's the quiet protector. And then there's Su Hongdou, who just doesn't get why everyone hates Shen Baizhou. "He's a really nice person…" she says, completely missing the political landscape. It's almost cute how oblivious she is, but it also makes me wonder—does she actually understand what's happening, or is she just following her heart? And Shen Baizhou himself—confused by the hostility, unaware of the gossip about Liu Susu, just walking in thinking he can present his script normally. The guy has no idea he's walking into a lion's den.

Loved the pacing to the story. And really loved how the first chapter sets up everything. So we could get hang of the character and bit of thier back story.
