i just read your few chapters of today so i wanted to say ty for the chapters, but i kinda feel you could have used 1-2 chapters for the picking of orphans, some things like rare old body physics etc etc. you know what makes them special etc, i kinda can see you "rush it a little" to get to canon, but i think its your story and if you want these orphans to play a bigger role a deeper introduction would be ok, and on the same not, interactions with people he need can be longer, for example the meeting at the banquet, after talking about the future, you just "jumped" ahead, i am not saying its bad i am just saying you could improve on it as the story will hopefully keep going for a long time
