When I saw this novel for the first time I thought, 'this will be an interesting read', and is was, but the English was so terrible that I had to drop the story.This book has many typos, the author has no idea of the concept of past tense, or grammar in general.I had to correct every sentence in my mind just to make this novel a readable one.... Although I haven't read much, this book could have been an excellent one, a shame the author doesn't know how to write.
The moment you read a group of 8-year-old kids running an underground organization inside a wizard school with house goblins and an 8-or-9-year-old girl poisoning her boyfriend, who was also 8 or 9 and had probably fcked with, because of a gambling debt, you know you can't take this novel seriously anymore. Be it the characters, the story or the world, they are... colorful, but they are only at that, nothing more, nothing less. The author made it too convenient for the main character. "Sh*t, I'm a serious danger here which can cost me my life. What, I leveled up and conveniently acquired this ultra awesome skill which can conveniently save my life and was forgotten by me? Great!" World background is also nonsensical. Have you seen any gods schemed to kill a mortal before? Have you?!And wow, this novel really knows no boundary of child abusal. Rape, beating, killing,... it has them all. And the main character has also taken part in the beating, and killing part. Well, the fact that he is only 14 makes you "meh".You know what is wrong about this novel except redundant child abusal cases? There are no kids! Wow! Isn't that great?!Not!!For the love of Talos, it's annoying to see every kids act like a college student or ***** and sometimes the adults act like kids!

By far the best novel on this site. The plot is surprisingly interesting, riddled with meandering but welcome complexity that unravels over time.The characters too are multi layered with memorable personalities, which only serves to foster great empathy towards them and their cause from the reader. You can also detect social commentary on the xianxia genre when you read between the lines. I just wish the translation quality was better. This is seriously a shining gem in the sea of mediocrity and trash that encapsulates 99.9% of this site. Give it a read if you have an appreciation for thoughtful plotting, complex characters and terrific world building.
This is literally the most unresponsive translator. Goes weeks without updates or translations after promising new chapters... even lied that another translator was brought on board, but yet no chapters for a week. The story is legit good, that's why I'm even writing a review.
Only way I see this having been picked is due to the ease of translation. Half the novel is word filler of repeated messages about his element points that aren't even different, his whole point of getting strong is for his new fiancée that he gets in chapter 1 yet you don't see her for 10 chapters at a time. I think his fiancée has less screen time than her own father. The love enemy fodder 'Donald' has more screen time than the fiancée despite dying randomly 15 chapters in. He had 1,000 failures towards smithing in a row, yet once he gets the system he hasn't failed without forced interuption. No explanation as to why he suddenly turned into a god smith. System didn't give him any smithing talent. All it did was make him stronger, which mind you, we don't even know the combat system. All we know is that the novel is not good.
The author writes some pedophilic stuff early on and it just feels really weird.............................................................
The premise is simple, yet interesting and fun. The magical realism elements really work. Keep up the good work author, good stuff for sure.

I really can't understand why this gets so few votes, this is one of the best novels on this site. I like how it isn't all about faceslapping as I love LoHP but it had so much of it that I had to take a break. The store has the plot advantages of the system without gaining the weakness of being obvious and predictable, illogical and not fitting well with the story, overdone wish-fulfillment, excessively bullying the protagonist and making him the but of a dumb joke, and being cliche. I see plenty of connections with a certain story about The Fool which is so popular. All in all a great read and is truly a hidden gem.
