Also called Chu Shi, she is Chu Chenyin's stepmother from the Chu family. Once a pampered official's wife who wore gold and silver with a haughty demeanor, she now appears as a beggar in tattered clothes with burn marks on her face after the fire stones destroyed the Chu family. She previously tortured Chu Chenyin, forcing her to drink foot washing water. She has a youngest daughter who got lost during their escape.
