Personally, this is a very refreshing novel to read. It’s basically a slice of life novel that doesn’t have all of the repetitiveness and killing that others do. The MC is hilariously arrogant at times and extremely cunning at others. I would definitely give this a try!
Even if there is some difference like he became supreme being and he found way to come earth and so he come back.Something like that happened it's ok.But this novel is same as all reincarnation daddy ****,☆he failed in last tribulation and lost his cultivation now he have to start cultivation from the start,☆he is poor as fck. So he have to cure an old man to get some money.☆his wife family is ****ty rich family. So they made his life difficult and killed him in accident, then take that wife back so they can arrange political marriage in the future which mc will stop.☆some arrogant young master here and there pop out so they can get their ass killed sometimes their wholefamily..., etc.,
The novel isnt bad however I read for crafting and the mc not for side characters so when 2 and a half chapters of side characters come up it is difficult to keep reading even more so with such long chapters. it almost feels like some things are pure filler with no purpose so i wont continue reading this novel
Very good novel especually for a trial - a mesh of ‘cheats’ from his original life and being transmigrated give him his cheat it seems like which is interesting
Translation quality is a good 5stability of updates is 3/5 - because i rarely see this update that much, quality of translation is great but i think quality affected quantity todayStory development 3/5 - the premise of the story is very good i was excited reading early chapters but later on i saw that behind the excitement there was really nothing that great about the storyCharacter design 3/5 - at first i thought "oh cool.. badass mc" later on all i saw was an edge lord muscle brained mc that author tries to hind behind funny sounding thought process that the mc displaysWorld Background 4/5 - showed enough details that i consider it having a great backgrand and established power levels.dropped this story... because i dont like musclebrained edgelords that much... you might say that ive read to few of the chapters but for me even if his character develops at later chaps i still wont pick this up again... story just aint for me, but i understand that there are a lot of people that like this sort of story and mc, i have nothing against it, i even recommend this story for those types of readers..
(It's a continuation of Previous comment which I can't edit so...) 资质 means aptitude. The translator translate it to "zi'zhi" which I don't know even know if it's a word or not. See? The translator didn't did his homework. I find it disappointing to see such a good story being getting ruined. Please don't ruin such a good story.
*Disclaimer - I originally read this on WW, and i condemn qdi for what i assume is stealing it, but thats besides the point, i'm writing a review based on what i think of the novel itself.Ok, this novel isn't great, but its quite a good read as well, the characters don't feel all that lifelike but its not too bad, its good enough to immerse yourself and loose track of time for a few days. Honestly apart from the issues it shares with most mediocre novels, the only big problem for me is the cringy asf gem-based power system which i hate imagining, ugh, it may not be such a problem for everyone else but everytime i hear alexandrite catseye it makes me want to drop this. The strory and world are above average id say, its an ok read imo, would't really reccomend it though
I started reading this novel at its early days. and i could say that even though a lot of people would feel like its just a parody by taking the characters from other novels. This novel proved to be one that is interesting and satisfying to read. the level of mastery of its world building, the politics and the deep plots in the dark, the legacy built. everything is superb. and the final chapter wasnt only a masterpiece, but a thread that is tightly knitted into the hearts of its readers.Ive been with this novel since the start and i could say to the author, well done! God bless you
The translator uses a wide range of vocabulary, which makes the story more fun to read. The translator chooses words that don't exist in the dictionary, words like yap ( supposed to be an animal) and stagger ( supposed to be a type of blade).Another bad thing about the translator is the update stability. All the translated works of Chen Dong failed because they didn't have fast and stable releases, and the Sacred Ruins is no exception as the updates are rather erratic.
ambithita why do i want to kill the fl, reading this book makes me want to smash my head with a piece of tofu im gonna die of anger if i keep reading
Haven't read the novel yet, but I just want to say... FINALLY. A NON-WESTERNIZED NAME. Thank God. Really guys, a random Chinese name is much better than Bick, or Eddie Edward, or Sidel, or Samuel in Chinese novels! Support this!
It's a really good story with a interesting concept and nice face-slapping moments. But sometimes there are moments where the development of the story is just horrible. It seems the author wanted to push the story, but didn't consider if it's plausible. Nevertheless I just skip these moments and ignore them. But the worst problem, and the reason why I'm writing a review, is how the author handles the heroine of the story. The MC is chasing her to 'rescue' her, but the most stupid reasons are holding them apart and 80% of that reasons are caused by the couple. Now already 300+ chapters about the chasing! Now it seems it's over, but I'm sure the author will once again find a way to continou the chase.Really, if from the beginning the couple would be together and travel the worlds, how the MC does this with random girls, it would be one of the best books, even with the stupid development moments.
