I've only read a few chapters, so I can't really judge the entire book. However, there's no chemistry in the interactions between the protagonist and the women. This was clearly written by someone who hasn't had much real interaction with women. It screams "unrealistic, totally from my imagination, and lacking in real-world experience."
I guess this makes sense since it’s just a novel and doesn’t need to adhere strictly to common sense. But I can't continue reading because it’s just not my cup of tea. I prefer my books with a dash of realism.
The author's sense of humor is lacking, which detracts from the story (-1). The MC's character arc is inconsistent, going from a strong personality to a bland one and then a sudden transformation that doesn't feel earned (-1). The protagonist becomes overly powerful too quickly with illogical reasoning, leading to confusing plot developments (-1/2).
Despite the promising start, the story disappointingly fails to meet expectations, particularly in a scene where the MC gains a significant power but chooses to create an extravagant weapon instead of using it wisely (-1). The ending with a predictable and unamusing secret exit twist further ruins the reading experience (-1).
Overall, considering these factors, I would rate the story 2.5/5 initially, but due to the letdowns, it's downgraded to 2/5.
