She's not panicking. She's preparing. And that's scarier for the antagonists than any reaction she could have had.
The stakes in this book keep escalating and I am NOT okay. It starts with something personal — a betrayal, a loss, something that feels intimate and small — and then it just... expands. Every time you think you understand what's at risk, the author pulls the rug out and reveals there's something much bigger underneath. The protagonist isn't just fighting for themselves anymore. They're fighting for people who can't fight for themselves. And the antagonist? They're not a cartoon villain. They're smart, they're patient, and they have a point. That's what makes it so tense. You understand why they're doing what they're doing, which means every confrontation is a moral minefield. There's a scene in chapter 40 where everything comes to a head and I literally gasped. Not a scream, not a cry — just this sharp intake of breath because I couldn't believe what I was reading. The author made me care about someone who, three chapters ago, I wanted dead. And now I'm terrified for them. The pacing is relentless. I stayed up until 3 AM reading and I have zero regrets. The cliffhanger at the end of chapter 41? I'm not ready for what comes next. Send help. Or more chapters. Preferably both.

I’ve read 15 chapters full of action, dynamic conversations, and tension building between the characters, and I had a lot of fun reading. The bad boy is super cute and hot, and the doctor surprised me a bit—but in a good way. I’m eagerly waiting for the next chapters! ????

I'm hoping that this book will scratch my itch, I'm desperate for a book to actually have relationship progression. So far the beginning was fine, the party and future husband & wife met cute was just what I wanted, the awkward forced proposal was fantastic and I am desperate for more of such chapters.The other world story is lackluster as far as I'm concerned. I love a good level up, power advancement, system evolve story but overall i really want them to get back to their world and deal with family shenanigans and ex fiance trouble.I'm sure that once they aren't trapped in Limbo the otherworld story will and can be better but I'm willing to stick around for now cause husband and wife need me to witness their blossoming love story. keep it coming but please I'm not here for fighting I'm here for Love!
