I've only started reading this but I quickly realize this is something I'll keep reading the future. The pacing is actually alright. It won't overwhelm the readers but it also won't bore them.
But I have to admit, the first few chapters I read kind of bug me. There's a few mistakes such as not putting quotation marks on a speech and lower case letters at the start of a sentence.

the author sucks at describing the fights... it's even at the level where it's frustrating to read...
in addition there are too many useless descriptions which already make the fight not so well described more difficult to read, and besides the author stops redefining the description of the technique as well as the weapons each time one of your characters makes a attack, and above all we already know that water represses fire, no need to give such a detailed and boring description in each paragraph...
for me it's the worst novel I've seen in terms of combat description! just too frustrating!
Also known as "Ze Tian Ji", this is one of the best novels I have read. This is a pretty old novel and used to be translated elsewhere. It is about a boy who is fated to die and comes to the capital to find means to avoid his death. Subsequently, he gets embroiled in the matters of his fiancee, has unexpected encounters, overturns public expectations and gets pulled into the politics of the different factions. The writing is dense and complex, and needs a good translator to unpack its full potential.
Okay maybe it’s not perfect but i can’t see the flaws so 5 star ehm
It’s a good read the only flaw I have with it is that there aren’t a lot of chapter and you can’t rate that cuz the update stability is good :/
Trash translation. Far worse than the trash quality, mistaking pronouns, calling Feng Ling a girl almost every two paragrapsh. Waste of time

I don't know what to say, I am speechless. The MC here is a public road as anyone can walk all over him. And what does the MC does, he keeps his head down and then takes revenge in secret and then it repeats. I get why he does this but c'mon there is a limit to how much of coward one can be. I read the novel till 220 chapter and the character of the MC never changed. I read 220 chapters hoping he will be less of a slave to the FMC but no and I just cheaked the chapters near 900 and he is still the same.
Amazing writing style and well executed story. Clearly a work of art.
