A generic cultivation novel with cheat MC. The templates of the cultivation novel are well placed in this novel and it doesn’t get boring. Though it’s the same as other cultivation novels, it doesn’t drag things but the lack of originality is quite sad. Overall, it’s a good read, would definitely recommend new readers to try it.
I must say, I want to thank this damnable translator. He opened up a new world to me. Through this novel translator and ****ty qidian, I've found my way to underground community in reddit. No more spending ss.
Writing Quality ★• It's a complete copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a slight original of an original novel with the same plot. Just a pervert well not exactly a pervert but you get my point of him only looking for female disciples with the synopsis alone.Story Development ★• It's just the same story with completely different name of some novels with disciple cashback/return system.Character Design ★• I already mentioned it, a copy of a copy of a....Updating Stability ★ ★ ★ ★ ★• No complain hereWorld Background ★• Just an expanding set of world starting from the MC's sect to the other region, to a continent, to another world, etc...
The kind of MC who always got bullied whenever he went, even his parents as well, barely had any friend in school, and always thought himself as a useless being for being born with such a lowly power... compared to others who shot flame, blizzard, thunder and poison from their hands... his Charm wouldn't do much but to max the charisma point in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L points.Or is that so? Anyway, did you noticed that I use mostly past tense for the paragraph above? Well, I wouldn't like to spoil you more, because the satisfaction when the MC finally able to [REDACTED] those bullies... well, you wouldn't be that satisfied knowing [REDACTED]. Definitely worth to read and watch the MC do tons of [REDACTED] with his true power. Then, about the writing... it's clear and vivid, less ambiguous, telling the surrounding and what the character think and do, especially with the first person perspective, making it more easy to follow and understand of what happened. Then there's the dialogue. The dialogue is clearly the strongest point of this stort. Every dialogue sound different to each character---that sense from the annoying brads, the archetype of scaredy-cat persons, etc---giving them rich timbre (or tone color in musical term for rich-sounding music or dialogues in this case). The plot, I have nothing to say anymore as you must read it for yourself to get that sense of "take that, b****!"-ish.About pacing, well I think it's a bit rushing (at least in my standard) in the beginning of chapter when the MC had yet to found his true nature. Hoping to see his past being told as a miserable human, just to see him "return the favour" later on. Well no matter, the story development itself already alright, and I truly enjoy reading it.About grammar, no comment on that, since I'm not native speaker, and you seemed did a better job than me.With that being said, I guess that's all...Lastly but not least, I'd like to thank to the Author who keeps updating and writing this good story for us.Thank you... ^^Keep on writing~
so far I love it, I hope that it gets picked. ???????????????????????????????????????????????
Yes full powered MC right of the bat. i am loving the development of the story hope you get selected to continue. otherwise great stuff................................
hehehehehe...........
As of writing this review, I’ve only read up to Chapter 16. The author’s writing style could use improvements, especially when it comes to tenses, grammar and phrasing. From the chapters I’ve read so far, I keep getting the feel that there is a lack of direction for the plot and details with respect to world/setting. Sometimes it seems to me the MC was just running around places and doing things, being silly, asking questions that aren’t getting solid answers and evaded by other characters. This all makes it hard to grasp what’s going on with the plot/character development. Mystery is good for a story but when reading this, I felt there was too much strange mystery happening and not enough answers as a reader. Or perhaps it’s the way the MC is narrating the story that doesn’t really resonate with me. In fact, I kind of find the MC annoying with his dealings. I have to admit that this isn’t really my cup of tea. However, if you are into magical realism, creatures of the night with hints of romance in the background then this story may be for you.
é meio difícil começar a ler algo de um autor que mal tem a capacidade de terminar uma novel antes de começar a escrever outras 10 sem motivo nenhum. então não sei...
Scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer, scammer
uhhhhh who is saying this book is elite? This book is bad. Like really bad. Don't read this book if you want logic, consistency, character growth, a good plot. In it's current state it's really weak. I donno if this is spoilers since it's literally the first 5 chapters but he very first plot point is that the MC gets accepted into the holy church for being the youngest mage to awaken and have a compatibility with light. The head priest of the church who is accepting him as his disciple decides not to give him a guard or a trinket to save his life or anything for that matter. We then learn there is a Head priest of the village that the MC lives in who has a son who also happened to awaken with light compatibility at the same time but he's a lil old so not so cool. The head Priest of the entire church says nope I'm not gonna accept him in the church he has to go the long way to get into the church. The problem with this is that we immediately after this fact learn how rare light users are.... so why didn't the head priest accept him? This leads to obvious hatred in the sons heart and conflict arises but you see how forced that was? How illogical that whole scenario was? It's like listening to a 5 yo lie to you using 5 yo logic but you are an adult and you can see right through it. Then there's the word padding, it starts right in the beginning. The author will blatantly rewrite but slightly reword sentences that are just reiterating the same thing over and over. Stuff you normally see in novels after they go platinum sometimes.I don't understand how this is ranked so high.... This book reminded me why I like books that have been published and have editors and an author who rereads their own work and makes multiple drafts. I hope the author goes back and rewrites this cause it seems like there's good ideas in there it just feels like whoever wrote this is in elementary school (very rookie writing mistakes). It's like that. I hate leaving bad reviews cause I'd much rather love a book than feel like I've been wasting my time.
Really enjoying this book. Michael sticks to whay he says and i love the Ruthlessness. Really hoping this doesnt turn into a harem. Looking forward to more updates
