Not bad. Not great. It aint trash but its not something great that you will have the urge to binge read it all in one go.Overall a generic novel. Could have been better. But atleast its not something horrible.

Review at chapter 150Story, while somewhat cliche, is still pretty good. OP protagonist for the most part for those that like that. Cool concept with the divine class and the demerits that come with it. He doesn't really encounter any ACTUAL danger so far. Feels very low stakes, even if consequences are stated to be high.Characters are downright terrible. All women are written terribly and there's clear, underlying sexism throughout. "Women are mysterious creatures" BS. Not to mention how completely dysfunctional the MC's family is. I hope the author isn't projecting too much, cause if they are, I hope they're in a better life situation now. I can't really find one well written character. Also trys to talk about trauma through characters, but it isn't really handled well. My only positive aspect of character design is the MC's clear divide between good and evil. Although I don't typically like 'soft' MCs, Cera's kindness in different scenarios makes total sense and is well executed.Good updater.World is nice for the most part. Cool that NPCs have their own version of world notifications. Issues arise in the total inconsistency of leveling as well as money. Both make little to no sense throughout.
okay i gotta say, this is one of my favorite novels ever. I'm up to date at chap 258, and it's been super refreshing to read a novel like this. I've always been a fan of the process of comprehending universal laws/daos and the mysticism that comes with it and this has plenty of that later on. Origin-tan keeps the novel fresh, and there aren't tons of cliques throughout the novel. the mc end up in a relationship later on, and at least so far, they haven't used the worst clique ever (at least in my book) which is the main heroine being placed in a coma or kidnapped away from mc where he has to get super strong to meet her again. the character development makes the characters feel like living breathing people, and if you have some time and coins i would 200% recommend you taking time to read this.also, plz gift stones and coins, so we can see the end of this story eventually. it would be really sad if this novel gets dropped. I warmly recommend this novel. It is very refreshing and original. Translation Quality: Overall, I have been satisfied by the language quality. English is fine. However, assessing this particular aspect is always hard since I don't understand Chinese and i'm not a professional translator (Translation is a very peculiar exercice and requires dedication). English is not my mother tongue either. Update Stability: The team has usually kept the daily schedule. Moreover, the author has not published much more chapters so there is no point in expecting a quicker pace for the updates. Story development: The novel is one of a kind on this website. By any means, it is a Xanxia novel. Yet, the writer gives a mysterious, otherworldly mood to his story and to the characters. For once, we feel that pursuing immortality is a journey for the protagonist, that he becomes something different than the "common folk" ("similar" to the Selbstüberwindung from Nietzche perhaps). Character Design: Very satisfied. The focus is on Jing Jiu but the other characters are given enough attention to feel real. Relationships and backgrounds are rich. World Building: The world feels coherent and real: a well done typical Xanxia (Martial Sects, etc.) with a complex background, which is being developed along the story (Nothing has been dumped violently). Furthermore, the story has not fallen in this unpleasant cliché: this continent is a small backward island, there are skies beyond skies, etc.
This is the best cultivation novel I read. I have only read couple of the giant cultivation novels till the last available chapter, but I certainly gave many of them a try. Even among the ones that kept me engaged till the end, this novel is the best of the best.In here we can find a protagonist that seeks strength to protect his loved ones. He is generous to those who help him and is a ruthless devil for those who offend him. No matter what he does, in the end I find all those actions perfectly agreeable. Oh by the way, I love the new cover and the synopsis.
Got boring fast. Don't get me wrong, it was interesting at first, but then he found the perfect cultivation methods, obtained a spiritual bone, and upgraded his talent to high. Now what?
