It's really quite surprisingly good up until around C350 when the simulator gets an 'update' which is just a pure downgrade. From there on the only thing the story has to offer is 'Year 100, person 1 broke through to golden core' and so on, on and on. After that we get a simulation reward which is ludicrous and in a month or something they've all become top 10 strongest in the world. There was good plot before the simulator update but after that there's no plot at all. Characters are very 2d as well. Worth a read until the update.
One of the coolest Xianxia novels I've read. It's much better the prequel Martial World. The translation is also excellent!!

10 chapters in and I'm already hooked. It's still that same "Overpowered MC" but boy do this one execute it very well compared to 90% of other similar characters out there.The MC doesn't deliberately want to act cool or look cool, he's just doing things at his whims and end up doing cool things. He's a farcry from those "I'll act edgy so I can look cool" MCs.So far it has been a light hearted story with a mix of comedy that has never failed to make me smirk or giggle. I wish there were more chapters to binge.
This is one of those novels in which, yes, MC does have a cheat, but the cheat will take much longer than normal stories to make MC OP af, and hence all the villains will look amazingly strong when compared to MC.This novel is centred around monster hunting and, power and ability gains from their cores. However, unlike other novels MC doesn't have (nor will he have in the foreseeable future) the ability to singlehandedly take care of a group of monsters.Now the characters : MC's elder sister and their mutual friend the same age as the elder sister. The friend is a girl too. There's almost no talk about other characters and the relationship feels weird tbh. The incest thing as well as weird flirting is tried to be written in a funny heartwarming way but was not to my liking. And the friend relationship is weird as in she takes a kiss on the lips as payment for teaching from MC's sis ??? This whole relationship part is confusing.Overall, I'd say it's a mildly dark novel. It's pretty ok. I don't see myself reading this in the long term. However, please do try it. You never know if this is your type or not just from the reviews.
This novel is very interesting and easy to follow without lagging behind. Well written in a simple, humble way that it makes you be able to relate and above a great story it has.
Good story.........but I would not start this novel. I was about 3/4 done and suddenly chapter I was on and previous got made premium. Who knows if even more will get changed. So unless you have something to burn just avoid

I was interested in this novel when I read the reviews. To be honest, I made several attempts to start reading this novel. But I assure you, if you overcome this, you will look forward to every chapter. At the moment I rate it as 5/5.The author has created an interesting world and characters. I advise you to get acquainted with this work.
