The prompt is MC is living in a "digitized world" as said in the synopsis where a portion of the people get a mark on their hand after graduation I guess that allows them to access the system which shows their stats and allows them to cultivate, enter secret realms and pretty much do everything related to cultivation. There is the mortal world where everyone can enter, and when people with the mark die they get 1 more chance to live a mortal life there. In addition to that, there are secret realms from which people get resources from that can only be accessed by people in a certain cultivation realm. MC basically gets a bunch of OP stuff once he breaks through, daily, weekly, monthly, and pretty much like a Gacha game, I guess.
On to the actual review. The only somewhat interesting thing here is the setting with the whole digitized thing. Story development is awful IMO mainly because MC doesn't actually have any goal or anything, he just roams around and he claims he wants to max out every realm but he doesn't really do that or again, puts any effort into anything at all. So MC goes with the flow, Character design is pretty garbage but I can't say I expect anything in this category these days. Shouting skill names before using them is cringe, a lot of inconsistencies with the values. What's the point of having accurate attributes like 5000 strength and the likes when even if MC has strength at the peak of a realm he apparently still has to waste time on someone that's just about the breakthrough the early stage? The answer is there is no point and it's just stalling on minor enemies. There are just so many inconsistencies, in general, it really seems like a sketch. Like that time he said it's extremely rare or close to impossible for someone to break through to the 3rd realm in 100 days but this random girl/ MC's previous best friend (
I really wish this book was still updating. was by far my favorite while it was. hopefully the author gets it sorted out and we can be back to seeing Lin fan
another webnovel where system does everything for mc (the easy road). also character admire mc for no apparent reason or question his actions. To be honest substandard at best. i do admit only managed to read till chapter 9 before giving up so could get better. 2 stars cuz i want to be different than those 1 star givers.
Not bad, but also not that good. The very bad thing about this is that MC would share the information regarding his cheats ie. his high luck and information regarding his talent to strangers. I mean he just met new people and he's already telling them what is supposed to be his secret. Also his high luck isn't really doing much right now. You would imagine that with such high luck he would have like a very high chance to trigger his skill, but nope. His luck right now is just kind of like a decoration. The final straw for me is that MC was all about being a loner professional player trying to earn money(you would think that there is something special about him like he's very good at gaming, but nope), then it turns out that he would need to join a guild in the end to actually earn a lot of money and progress more than being a loner. I might change my review if his luck and talent started working in the future.

It starts with the cliché of someone hurting him and he can't do anything... are you dirty? Can such a wound be considered an attempted murder, and the police or the government do nothing? says he barely has money when he could have sued both the other guy's master and the one who attacked him. and then the cliché of playing the game without knowing what to do that his sister gave him starts, I've read many with the same script (literally the same) congratulations for your creativity

There some relative good qualities (compared to the low norm that we are used to), but the rhythm of the story is all over the place. Tiresome.
Read the mtl
It's a pretty good cultivation novel. One problem I have with this one is that the ending is super rushed.
Many plots are outright ignored and everything just doesn't make sense anymore when the chaos are nearing the end.
