There is a scene in these chapters that I need to talk about because it is EVERYTHING. He Jiayu comes home early, finds Xu Zhiyuan in the media room, and leans over her — one hand on the chair back, one on the table, basically caging her in. The text says her heart skipped a beat. Her ears turned red. She could see his eyelashes. And then he just... asks if there's something on his face? Like a man who has no idea what he's doing to the woman he's leaning over? "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" I SCREAMED. This man is playing 4D chess with her heart and he doesn't even know it. And then the dinner scene — candles, red wine, five dishes, Nanny Zhang somehow orchestrating the most romantic setup in the history of corporate wife dinners. Xu Zhiyuan drinking red wine like it's juice (half the glass in one sip, done in two sips total — He Jiayu's internal monologue was literally just "..." because he cannot believe this woman exists). The warm yellow lighting, the intimate space, the way He Jiayu takes her hand to pull her up and then immediately lets go like he's the one who's flustered now. The author builds atmosphere like a film director. Every scene has a visual quality to it. You can SEE these moments.

When Xu Zhiyan sees Jiang Zhaoying holding her maids' hands and a faint ache stirs in his heart. When his peripheral glance catches her petite figure and a storm of emotion surges within him. This man who is cold and aloof to everyone else — he's different around HER. And I know Wei Jiuzhao feels the same way because the text says so and I am NOT mad about it. Jiang Zhaoying's tears when she sees them — those familiar figures carried into her sight by the wind — that's not just relief. That's someone who has been completely alone and then suddenly, impossibly, people she trusts appear on the horizon. The emotional weight of that moment is everything. She's been surrounded by enemies, her life is in danger, and these two men walk in like a rescue party from the heavens. I'm a mess.

This is a nice story. My first time of reading a book which has a male as its main character with the journey through reincarnation and a system and it has been amazing so far, not losing to those of female characters as the main.

I feel his system was well made, the author does well with incorporating it into tye business world and the story. I love how well made the book is, my only wish would be for the author to put more work into his worldbuilding
