Ok, I know that may some people won’t agree with me. However, after reading the whole 40 chapters the only way of how to describe this novel would be boring and slow. This is the misunderstanding-type novel, but the main problem here is that usually that types of novels are funny or at least interesting to read. However, this one is just boring. In the beginning the it was almost everything about the MC, but that changes about chapter 20 where the MC only makes 20% of the novel and the rest is only his “pets” talking. I wouldn’t have a problem if the pets were funny to read, but their plot or story are too fucking boring to the point it only feels like useless filler. Not only that but even the parts with the MC are too boring to read too.
I made it to chapter 36. It's was okay at first, it was going for the typical op main character that never loses and that's fine but there was no real comedy, interesting world building or anything that made up the boring plot. The main character is copy and past template of others, his only redeeming factor is he is not as psychotic as he could be and isn't as thirsty as most mc's. I like some op mc novels but this isn't one of them

It is good, the Mc has a goal and motivation, a cheat and a decisive personality. Unlike some game novels who have weak MC claiming to be pro, have rich experience and whatnot, only to suffer setbacks in the first few chapters, this one's MC lives up to expectation.
As for the Mech part, we don't get to see that part yet. But yes, he can build a mech on his own with his cheat item.
I just hope he would not need to go to the ends of the earth to farm precious and ultra rare materials just to build a single mech. Hopefully, it would focus more on design.
Extremely dragged out. Every person in the novel is written dumber than rocks. Idiotic plays based on the MC wanting to be a righteous player.
What else should even be said?
I spent many hours reading this, yet hardly 1.5h passed in game. Chapters 5 to 60 are just two games (1h). And the second game isn’t even over yet. I expect it to last for at least another 10-20 chapters.
The author writes the same thing many different times so you feel deja vu and feel like you’re reading the same thing four times in the same chapter.
Let’s not even go into the ReactAndy chat and how that takes up more than half the novel, and another 20% is taken up by [XX donated YY gift] spamming.
Below is essentially how I looked at the end of almost every chapter.
don't waste your time on this pile of garbage................................................................................................
Red mist? moon? i swear i read this novel somewheres long time ago. the writer is Canadian, but I forgot the title. Earth and another world is merging and a storm in of res mist that came from the moon swept the earth. later the dude kill dragon with a forklift and getting stronger from absorbing dragon flesh and blood then adapting on the red mist environment.
Long Live the Emperor or 皇兄万岁 in mandarin is a good novel so far. I can't comment on anything past chapter forty as it has yet to be released as of me writing this review. I would highly recommend you give it a shot but enter this novel with the knowledge that it uses a lot of references to Buddhism, and Devils. Some concepts are confusing at points even with the help of the translators.
Translation Quality is superb. I honestly wouldn't have a clue what was going on in this novel if the translation wasn't so well done. Great job by
Stability of Updates I'm going to assume is two a day assuming this gets selected.
Story Development is where if I had the option would give it a 4.5 instead of 5 stars as the plot is slow at certain points. Some battles or concepts could have been explained in a single chapter rather than three to five. I personally didn't mind it but I know it probably isn't for everyone.
Character Design is where this story excels the most. First off, the main character Xia Ji is phenomenal. He is a transmigrator who isn't rash or stupid in any capacity. Rather Xia Ji uses his head many times throughout what I have read so far. Not saying he is a genius or perfect but at least he thinks cognitively a majority of the time. Xia Ji is cunning, powerful, but also gentle at times. Not to mention his little sister who livens up this story a lot with her pure heart in a world of darkness.
World Background is where this story fails heavily so far. Honestly, we know nothing about the world. Only bits and pieces here and there but not much else beyond that.
Overall rating: 4.8/5 stars due to the lack of world background which often left me confused as not much has been explained about the world itself yet. Maybe I'm just stupid and missed something though.
just reading the description made me wanna read it jajaja, tough that "dragon sword" i was imagining "her" growing a rod jajajaja that would have been fun, a futa MC
sometimes hard to follow yet riveting lots of twists and turns like a drug induced fever dream! feels like it could use another edit but might not need it
I like the story and the plot is great. A lot of new character that has interesting personality! Good writing style! Do keep updating when you're free! Keep it up dude~
