This is a review of the first fifteen chapters. The author has demonstrated mastery of both technical and descriptive skills. The author has interwoven cultivating methods and setting while forwarding the plot. This work doesn’t feel like you are reading a cultivation manual in between plot chapters. The pacing between plot developments is excellent. The lacking point is that only the main character is fully realized after 15 chapters. The side characters seem 2 dimensional at this point. Recommend!
I am the shameless author reviewing his own work.An original web novel that I wrote to improve my skills.I'm an ******* writer. A generic and unique original novel about Hoshi and his second chance at life with a system. He has a dream of becoming a world-famous chef. The chef system will help him reach that goal.Expect foodgasm, generic tropes, long food descriptions and memes.Maybe a harem? lolThis novel contains Magic, Comedy, Cooking, Business, System, Second Chance and Game Elements.

For anyone who wishes to read this novel, IT IS NOT IN ENGLISH. I'm not sure why the synopsis is but the book itself is not. I hope the author can translate this to English or find someone who can help them do this
Dont even bother reading this its so boring it would be a smarter decision to just watch 5minutecrafts in youtube its not as braindead as this novel ...AND WHY WOULD SOMEONE NAME IT THE DEMON KING SYSTEM like it gives me braindamage the more i read this
this is a nice book and it has potential and you are a very good writer so have a good day and keep making more chapter looking forward to it.
Not bad, but also not that good. The very bad thing about this is that MC would share the information regarding his cheats ie. his high luck and information regarding his talent to strangers. I mean he just met new people and he's already telling them what is supposed to be his secret. Also his high luck isn't really doing much right now. You would imagine that with such high luck he would have like a very high chance to trigger his skill, but nope. His luck right now is just kind of like a decoration. The final straw for me is that MC was all about being a loner professional player trying to earn money(you would think that there is something special about him like he's very good at gaming, but nope), then it turns out that he would need to join a guild in the end to actually earn a lot of money and progress more than being a loner. I might change my review if his luck and talent started working in the future.
I need to discuss Qin Xiao's bath scene because this is some of the most psychologically complex writing I've read in a web novel, and I'm not even being sarcastic. Here's what happens: Qinghe gets drunk, passes out, and Qin Xiao carries her to the bath. He's washing her, and his internal monologue becomes this absolute battlefield. On one side: "You bought her. She's yours. What's the problem?" On the other: "No. That's wrong. She's not property. She's a person." This is NOT a simple protagonist. This is a man who actually has a moral compass and is wrestling with it in real time. The fact that he's been buying her things, planning a wedding, building a house—all while this voice in his head keeps reminding him that she's a HUMAN BEING, not an object—this is character development at its finest. And then he does THIS. He holds her hand and... well, let's just say he found a compromise. The text is so beautifully euphemistic: "Taking her hand, he held it in his own. Not long afterward, the splashing water suddenly ceased." I'm dying. The author doesn't even need to be explicit because the implication is so vividly clear. But the genius is in what happens the next morning. Qinghe wakes up, checks herself over, and thinks: "He's quite the gentleman after all." SHE HAS NO IDEA. Meanwhile, Qin Xiao is outside hammering fence posts, refreshed and energetic, while she's been up all night wondering if he's actually capable in bed. The dramatic irony here is absolutely delicious. And Zhou Ye's relationship with Zhou Sui? Also fascinating. He's trying to establish boundaries with her now that she's fifteen, but she just clings to him and says she wants to hold onto her brother "for my whole life." And that moment where he feels something strike his heart—"A faint numbness spread through him. There was even a trace of sweetness mixed in"—that's the author planting seeds for a future emotional complication. Zhou Ye is NOT immune to her affection, and that's going to be interesting to watch unfold.
