All of this is woven naturally into the scene without feeling like an info dump. The Song residence itself feels like a character—oppressive, watchful, full of hidden agendas behind every corner.

And then Lu Jingchen shows up and absolutely flips the script. The way he just sweeps her into his arms and roars at everyone? Chef's kiss. But what really made me slap my thigh was the reveal about Father Ye finally showing his true colors — he was hiding out silently until his precious son got grabbed, then BOOM, suddenly he's very concerned. This is good stuff honestly, ? I kinda like bruce ??, but the character development and the world building are kinda moving at different speeds but that's okay, I'll like to see the how it plays out later on
90% (didn't actually do the math) of the reincarnation stories have little to do with where they came from. It is simply used to explain why they act a certain way while in this story it's a very important part and affects the story. I also enjoy the change of pace when you have a female main character. It is one of the best novels I have read recently. Although it is a bit slow to start. once the story picks up it takes a cool twist and turns. I loved the twist and I hope the author won't drop the book.Looking forward to more chapters ..
