An invigilator who monitored Qin Zhao during both the regional exam and the provincial exam. He had previously not expected Qin Zhao to pass as a Xiucai. He was surprised to see Qin Zhao again and mistakenly assumed Qin Zhao was a slacker due to his relaxed demeanor. He was dumbfounded by Qin Zhao's cooking during the exam and scoffed when Qin Zhao finished early and napped.
