A poor, good-for-nothing villager whom Hu Xiuxiu framed Jiang Huiwan to be caught with. Jiang Huiwan was forced to marry him. He later became rich from business ventures, cheated on her, and demanded a divorce. He was eventually imprisoned for counterfeiting, and his mistress ran off with their money. Their son needed a kidney transplant, which led him to beg Jiang Huiwan for money and a donor.
