An elder brother of Pei Liulang, holding a position in the Court of Judicial Review after six years of service. He is strict, disciplined, almost dogmatic, and one of the most authoritative figures in the household. He left for Chang'an when young. His return to visit family was ostensibly on orders of Consort Pei but related to political maneuvers in Chang'an. He plans to visit the grave and comfort his Third Uncle.
