Son of Deputy Director Luo, head of the Production Management Section at the electronics factory. He is a worker-peasant-soldier college student promoted by his father. He later became factory director and single-handedly ran the electronics factory into bankruptcy in the 1990s, but then bought up the factory land and equipment to start a private television business.
