He was embarrassed, sure, but he also didn't want her to feel awkward about witnessing it. That's... actually really sweet in a very He Suyan way. And then watching him join them at the food table? He could've refused, could've maintained his film emperor dignity, but no — he couldn't resist either. The three of them essentially turning it into an eating livestream is the kind of found-family energy I live for. Also, the comment from the viewer: "My He Shen is seriously comforting Su Yuqing" when she said she could quit the industry. That's the kind of small, quiet moment that builds chemistry without anyone even realizing it's happening. He Suyan staying behind to help her practice, suggesting they rest after an hour — he's being genuinely supportive while pretending it's no big deal. Typical He Suyan.

In a world where people are 'fighting, causing trouble, even risking killing each other just for a single meal,' Wen Lan trading essential food for a storybook is an act of defiance. It's saying that humanity isn't only food and survival—it's also stories, comfort, the things that made life worth living before the world ended. The energy pearls work as a parallel symbol. Everyone is obsessed with them because they represent power, survival, strength. But the pink pearl that no one else can absorb? That's Wen Lan's. It's hers alone. While everyone else is fighting over the transparent and colored pearls that grant elemental abilities, the one that's truly special goes unnoticed because it doesn't fit anyone else's framework of value. Sound familiar? The story seems to be asking: who gets to decide what's useful? And more importantly, what happens when the person everyone underestimates turns out to be carrying something none of them can even access?

amazing story i would recommend. the relationship of mc and FL were amazing. Tho little warning after time Jump mc has change together with their relationship. it's still good but iIwould appreciate if author had continued how it was in first half of work
