Ayne didn't know what the 'chipmunk' thing was about, but Varren seemed to be in a better mood, now. She was glad that he's better. At least, for now. What matters the most is reaching a new town or at least a village. With their equipment lost, they wouldn't be able to venture for long. Especially with bandits actively hunting them. After they finished their small, but filling meal, they packed their things, gathered anything they deemed useful, and continued their travels.

"Guh!" Hayden gets kicked towards a tree as he falls down.

He glanced at the door thoughtfully. Even if the company found out, it was too late. Chuckling, he strolled out of company building, bringing the box with him to his car. He opened his eyes, liberated from all of the shackles in his mind, but his body was still confined. A glimmer of light passed through the suffocating darkness, as the entangled roots began to disperse into the ground. He turned towards the ancient tree and gave a slight bow, feeling the pulsating threads of consciousness, he imagined, gently grabbing the biggest thread of all that's around him, the origin of the forest, the ancient tree that stood tall among it's kind. There, he found himself on a familiar grassland, with it's towering trees and gentle breeze. The granny was there, with her slouched back, holding a cup of tea, sitting on a gazebo with another cup beside her.
