For a taste of the Beats, Jack Kerouac's 1966 Satori in Paris (19,980) is a possibility. Satori is clearly labeled a novel by its publisher, Grove Press, but nearly 20,000 words may be a bit generous on my part; it was difficult to calculate because of all the white space. There are several one- and two-paragraph chapters. Satori was published not long before Kerouac died in 1969, but it definitely has the flavor of the author's 1957 classic On the Road. Like the classic, Satoriis glaringly autobiographical. The main character, Jean-Louis Lebris de Kerouac (no less), travels to France to track down the origins of his family name. Also like Kerouac's classic, Satori in Paris is at times a bit risque; therefore, not all teachers would be comfortable using it in class.
It seemed that she'd throw it towards the window with enough momentum to break it any time now.
Literally, that happened to us. We spent our first day as #bulliedhusband and #wifezilla apart. Nico went to Italy and I went to Spain with my friends--the very next day after our wedding.
Paul wrote to the Colossians, "For you died to this life, and your real life is hid-
"Yeah," Jungkook shrugs, stepping away from Rapmon and under the spray of the shower to clean himself up a bit. "But...I...I don't know. I'm not really worried?"
When they finally left the floating bridge and exited the lands of Cherson to enter in Adyghe, they could not help but let out a relieved sigh, even though they just left their homeland. Amyntas was not one to lose time on feelings though, and directly went to the crux of the matter.
dengan segera aku pun langsung bangkit dari tempatku jatuh dan berlari pergi meninggalkannya.

He asks out of the blue. Taken by surprise, I answer, surprisingly not stuttering.

As the sun was setting down, Mini felt scared to be in the cottage by herself, with only the cat to keep her company. The search team had agreed to come back tomorrow at her insistence, to look for Adarsh, but there had been no progress with the same. Mini was sitting on the couch, weeping, when the cat who was sitting near here started making noise, "what is this Kitty?" Mini asked. The cat started running towards the door, trying to open the door with its paws, which made Mini curious and a bit hopeful. She had heard that animals could smell their masters from a distance. Expectantly, Mini opened the door, but to her dismay, nobody was outside. Mini turned to go inside as the cat ran outside, and Mini called out after her, "Come back you stupid cat, there is no one out here." However, the cat ignored her voice and ran towards the waterfall. Mini ran after the cat, because Adarsh had loved it and now it might be the only memento of his that she had. The cat was running towards the waterfall with Mini behind it, "Stop, stop Kitty." The cat reached towards the edge and now it was not visible. Mini was nervous of whether the cat, too, was going to disappear into the waterfall. The noise of water and the setting sun was making the whole atmosphere fearsome but Mini collected her strength and as if in a trance, went towards the edge of waterfall.
"Grace i'm going to say something very true and hopefully you wont think of me differently"
