You ever watch DBZ, where one fight spans 10 episodes? This novel is similar, it tells a decent story once you get past the irritating start, but there is just too much filler. Author needs to stop rephrasing everything and just get to the point. Cut down on the unnecessary backstory, you don’t need that much world building. Really difficult to read and get into it.
I've read till chapter 5 or 6, and I dislike the way it's going. But that's not the problem. The problem is, the writing just feels strange. I'm not a native english speaker so I'm unable to spot the reason, but it disturbs me so much that I'm unable to read it anymore. Still, try it out, everyone has differnet tastes

Keep up the good work a very good read so far will add another review later down the line. Happy to see that it is not your typical starting point and adding different world cultures in it.

He decided to give up the throne to go around the world with Feng Wu and told the emperor (who was not his father) that when they'll have a child they would let him succed the throne be it a girl or a boy.It's good that they FINALLY ended up together but I really wished they would take the throne.
