I have been following it for a long time, and it keeps getting better and better
It feels like a eal book, not a web novel and it has very good character development
Nanakawaichan is my favourite author and all her books are aweaome
the people along the protagonist are simply stupid. how can they not question his behavior. A person who used to do so many crimes suddenly became a saint. Simply stupid. And what kind of parents are they instead of being strict with their child they make a person from outside their family their heir. They could have made the second in line the heir but no they did something that no parent would do and other family members also accepted. kudos to second wife at least she spoke for her child
why no updates since 2 months?Is there any way to bring back translation of this novel and continue to update it?
I swear im not biased cuz i know the guy... its a genuinely good story :)Keep writing author san! I would definitely give this novel a try if you sick of the stereotypical fantasy world tropes. Although it doesn't take anything away from a good fantasy story, it gives off a lot more mature and realistic approach to the world of magic, that i haven't quite seen before.
This is the best kingdom building genre story I have read on this platform, so far.Now, star review:writing quality- Unlike most stories consisting kingdom building and mmorpg genres, it doesn't have any name inconsistencies, and the grammar is good. Although, there is need for some editing, as a every other sentence, especially in later chapters, have jumbled up words. I know that it sounds contradictory to the 4- star that I have placed, but the point is that this simple mistake still doesn't take away from the story and its depth.story development- I have read till the latest chapter, binge read. I am so glad that the comment I made in the first or second chapter in regard with the sects and hidden families, hasn't proven to be true. I am also very happy that there is no annoying and unnecessary young master or mistress character yet. There is no dumb unnecessary face slapping trope yet. The characters are nicely fleshed out, and yet shrouded in some mystery. The MC is not out right dumb or edgy and evil af, he has his own ideals and got some good advisors to help him. Most importantly, there is no xia country forced into it, although there are many characters taken from chinese background, at least they are genuinely helpful and not like everything that has happened on this earth, is or was done by se chinese dude, I also like the inclusion of different cultures and there famous characters. Character design- Same as above.Updating stability- As I have written- I have binge read this book, hence, I am not sure about this. Though it shows 2chs per week.World background- This is like fresh breath of air, well not entirely, but still. Instead eastern empire and xia country, it has many factions and mc and his parents are from western front, at least according to knowledge provided till the latest chapter. There are still a lot of mysteries to be solved regarding the world background and it is enthralling.Finally I hope that this story don't get dropped or go on hiatus, and the quality be maintained pr improved.
"The Sage of Einar" is an exciting story similar to Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander", with a touch of Nordic and Viking history.
Personally, I'm a sucker for stories with vikings in them. I could count the number of Eric, son of Eric's I have read about in dozens of novels. So, this one definitely caught my eyes.
Alas, because I hold so much expectations for this, I too will give an appropriate review.
Points to work on:
-Grammar: It's definitely better than most of the webnovels I've read, but I know you can do better with your proofreading. Make it more readable, and I might just be an avid fan.
-Dialogue: Now this is a tough issue. Frankly, the characters don't seem real, especially when you read through their dialogues. I may not be privy to it, but is there a modern country where a father calls his daughter, "Daughter"? This is one of the biggest issues I've seen, and it's important to improve on this because having a culture-rich story like this requires believable character interactions. If the conversations are as dry and constructed as the ones I have seen, then more should really be done about it.
Points I really liked:
-Story: The plot is fast-paced and interesting. I would have been easily sucked into it if there were less problems with the grammar and dialogue.
-Feelings: I loved how their interactions were human-like (sadly, their dialogue was weirdly off...). Max was crazy scared when he was looking for his daughter. The daughter was hinted to be jealous about his father treating Ana well (and not her deceased mother!). It's cute, and these little things matter to me as a reader.
-Representation: Greece, Japanese, Nordic, American(?). I loved the slight references to many nations and cultures.
Andddd that's about it! I might have been carried away too much, but there's my honest review. This novel holds great promise, and appeals to a certain target market (me), but sadly still suffers from general writing. Author, improve more on the technicalities, and I might turn out to be a fan. :D

Overall great story! However there are a few problems such as grammar mistakes. But tbh its not that much of a big deal. Although i do have a few problems with the character development.
This is just my personal preferences but i just wish Ace(MC) had more freedom...instead of his grandmother controlling him/making his decisions every single time.
I mean I understand that he is young, therefore you might have limited his freedom...but his IQ and EQ is astronomically high so he should be more mature than others anyways....
Another thing is that his grandmother has all the power and authority but i just wish she had a better personality...I only read until ch35 so i may be wrong but the mc's only parent seems to be his grandmother why is she being so manipulative.
*This is just my personal preferences so flame me if you want, but i wont change my mind on this.
Anyways You do you Mr Author. I'm just one of the many readers you had, but i'm afraid i'll be dropping this novel.

it's fanpic...medivial world with swords and magic.connected with all film/ series world.i don't know why this world medivial after contact with futerstic worlds.and biggest problem with this novel is MC's commonsense is vastly different from us...I quit

The story is very good and must be written by a very handsome, well-adjusted person. It's about a snake, a most magnificent creature, who disguises himself as a human through magic. Being a human is confusing, of course, and the first parts of the story is about adjusting to his dumb slightly-more-human allies and trying to make them successful. Once he figures more things out, he kills people he doesn't like, and lives his best life. Hopefully, everyone lives happily ever after, from there. It tends to never work out perfectly-- probably because humans are involved.
