Okay, so let me just say — the moment Jiang Huai found out how the Guan family treated Xuxu was genuinely satisfying. Like, he literally went from warm and smiling to cold and done in one beat. That transition was so smooth it was almost scary. And then the butler dropping the bomb that Guan Xuxu is actually the Jiang family's lost daughter? Chef's kiss. Bai Shuqin and Guan Ruirui getting kicked out without even stepping into the foyer is the perfect punishment — they never even got to see the wealth they were trying to scam. But what really got me was how the plot layered the supernatural subplot on top of the family drama. Sister Wu stealing the wealth aura through a luck-stealing talisman? That's not just a random side quest — it ties directly into why the Guan family might have been so desperate to keep Xuxu hidden or mistreat her. The talisman was buried in a flower bed with blood-written dates and hair from a Jiang family member. The fact that Guan Xuxu could pinpoint the exact spot and have it dug up shows she's not bluffing at all. Jiang Su calling it "metaphysics nonsense" while his cousin Jiang Huai just gives him that look? Perfect contrast between the skeptical outsider and the one who actually understands how these things work. The plot also does something really smart with Lu Xuexi — she's positioned as the "good" adopted daughter, but her defense of Sister Wu and dismissal of Xuxu's claims reveals her own insecurity. She keeps saying things like "I'm not a daughter of the Jiang family to begin with" which is supposed to sound humble but honestly reads as manipulation. The author is planting seeds here about who really deserves their place in this family.
The long await is over! The story of the Devil Incarnate herself is about to unfold. One thing is for sure her story will gripped me from beginning to end!Just when I think that the stories can get any better but Muse, always always proves me wrong! Thank you and I love you, Muse for that!
