Three months away and he's already planning ahead. What I find most interesting is how their dynamic keeps shifting. He's this incredibly powerful man who can kick someone across a courtyard, but with her he's almost... gentle. Restrained. Like he's learning how to be soft. And she's this girl who's been pushed around her whole life but suddenly finds the courage to stand her ground because he's there. The line where she wraps her arms around his and he quietly withdraws his hand—she doesn't even notice or mind, right? She just thinks they'll grow familiar over time. That's the kind of innocent confidence that makes their relationship feel so genuine.

Love this book. Love the characters even though they drive me crazy. Kinda wish there was a bit more story at the end but I could have them keep going forever.
