I like the "old veteran" type of of MC. The protagonist is already experienced, sometimes power progression feels a little repetitive so skipping all that 'growing up' character development can make it easier on the readers. But it comes at the cost of the person's innocence.
A typical young and naive MC can feel a little stupid at times but we can be immersed in their individual perspective and character developments and understand why a character would make certain kinds of choices afterwards.
By literally combining the 2 into the same body I feel happy getting the best of both worlds. Evin utilizing the valuable wisdom that comes with age while also experiencing moments of first time innocence and ignorance is just so adorable.
I didnt read it and i dont plan to,, cause i only read novel about mc not him giving buff to his crew... I gave 5 stars cause the sypnosis of this book is quite unique,, good job author for doing something unique... and you reading this go give this book a try to support author...

I liked this one. It is a work that successfully blended fantasy and drama. Poor Inut, he deserves more than this in my opinion but it is the author's choice, respect :)
my brain hurts , dont try it , another thrash in this trial dump .

When I read a novel, I like to become engrossed in the story and immersed in it, the constant use of "chickie nuggies" in the beginning completely destroys the immersion for me. It is overused to the point of becoming annoying.
Another issue is that the world seems completely static without the MC. I.e First encounter of a boar & cultivator. They had been dead for days, but no predator in a spirit beast forest approached for a free meal. Only a mouse appeared when the MC arrived. The second encounter caused a large explosion which uprooted trees and either killed everything within 10km radius or caused it to flee out of range, when he is only 20km from a large city hosting 6 million people of which 30% are cultivators. Yet no one finds this strange and comes to investigate what happened... Not even during the 7 days in which the MC passes out beside the crater. An explosion of that magnitude would easily be heard by every person within 50km.
The concept seems interesting and the writing quality is not terrible, but it feels like an insane mode test of willpower to make it past the first 20 chapters to see if things start to get better.
It's a story where monsters from various other worlds come and invade earth & many people became zombies & animals mutate & become monsters
& are hostile to survivors, some get super powers. And some aliens become allies of survivors. Some are self centered tered It's a good story. I recommend this novel. I love it.

SONS OF FORTUNE :
Please no Harem. As long as it's not a Harem, I'll like it at this point! Most Empress novels are Harem but I hope I'm wrong about this one. Looks interesting. I don't know how the Empress became a System though...
i really love this history, need more please...............................................................................................................
