It's refreshingly new... kinda.We seen the card thing before but this improves on that. The MC is the one of two that knows of the cards. This also has fleshed out the rules the cards go by.The world is also different as it shows that the MC isn't the only strong person/group around.Long story short: You can tell there is effort here. Thought-out effort
