Leaving a review after deleting one of my past reviews. Just wanted to tell important stuff to the readers of The Cheat Seed. Lately, I've been so be demotivated to continue this that I might even drop this at this point. Thanks to all the guys who've supported TCS and Marcus's journey wholeheartedly. Don't worry, I don't plan on dropping it yet. But yes I've found interest in writing my second story which you might find interesting, maybe it's more interesting than TCS. While the start seems to be similar to the gamer, it later goes its own way and becomes a truly great story with its own strengths. For those who cry about to much stats... Just don't read it. The stats are relevant and the character stats always at the end so that you can skip them. So yeah, thx author(s?) for sharing your story and I hope to read many more of your chapters.
So far so good, no characters acting like crazy spoiled brats, which is a huge plus for me. Also the main character not going after cheats I'd fun so far, though I hope he bothers to learn about game play in the future to smooth out any crazy excuse . . Good job author! Hope. Dude this story is high quality?? keep it up.Pls dont drop it. You make him a dual cultivator . For example:: eye and magic or eye and sword etc. And more chapters frequency pls. You should try to turn this into a offical novel. It has that potential. So look for a publisher????

Soooooooo confusing this translation is one of the worst I've seen in a long time. I'm mad that I wasted my time reading this ughh. Such a disappointment.
I read till 20 chapters & don't feel like wanting to read more. Author doesn't have a writing style, the way things are described lack creativity. Its too linear where A does B and C happens because of D. Also author seems to use capitals often to empathize emotions like anger, suprise, focus. That's not a good way to write, it feels dull when you're reading it. Characters also lack dimension and don't feel real. MC is just a kid who cried when leaving but somehow adapts to new life really soon without visible change on his mentality. Also I doubt he learned to swear in orphanage but somehow knows how to while training? When kids are hurt they mostly go ouch with teary eye, they don't swear and fight back, thinking logically. He can't develop strong mentality in just few days after leaving orphanage. The way story is told and unfolded to readers need lot of improvement, I suggest author to do research in that area. I started reading this novel maybe 3 to 4 yrs ago could even be 5. It was dropped numerous times and the current translation on another site is just unreasonably low quality, barely legible.This story is not your usual Xianxia. The author of this story isn't afraid to prematurely kill off characters you might like, the Mc is cautious but daring not willful but meticulous.The story has the random generated events that add spice to the story making it hard to predict the overall direction the story will go.I really enjoyed this story and got several hundred chapters in before I could not handle the TL quality. If you are interested in a dark story with slight hints of love interest along with beast companions and an Mc with a mysterious past he doesn't even know then this is the story for you.
