I don't understand what is so appealing about this LN. Story is about one really good player beating old rivals-teammates. A lot of the mid chapters juat feel like fillers or grinding in the game, really boring imo.

If you want to read novel that focus on telling about pet/pet shop/pet evolution, this novel isn't recommended.I read 300 chapters, only 1 side character evolved his beast and had a second beast.

Mentioning Demon's Diary but it's barely updated! One of the most popular series imo and not being put up to show it's true potential. This makes me insecure bout the TL even though the history and quality of GGP's works are high. How will time be split will one drop as the other get popular?
Don't know anything about the story so but I'm optimistic. My 3stars are because of my mixed feeling due to the translators past (and ongoing) disappointments regarding upload of novels.

I had the opportunity to read the first 20 chapters of the web novel "My Cultivation Prowess Peaks after I Buried the Great Emperor's Corpse" and overall, I have mixed feelings about it.
On one hand, I must commend the translation quality. The language used is easy to understand and flows smoothly, making it easy to immerse oneself in the story. I wont talk about the stability of the updates yet.
However, I felt that the story development left something to be desired. While the concept of an invincible system that allows the protagonist to take over the corpses of the powerful and their possessions is great and adds a new level of excitement to the story, I felt that the plot moved at a slow pace and was not always engaging. Additionally, some of the characters felt underdeveloped and their motivations were not always clear.
The world background is rich and detailed, giving the reader a clear understanding of the setting and the history of the world. However, I found some elements of the story hard to follow, particularly the different factions and the cultivation levels that even till chapter 20, still did not explain, which added complexity to the story but also made it hard to understand.

So this is another reincarnation story? Don't get me wrong, i really like reincarnation stories especially when the mc use/apply knowledge from his past life to his current one. As long as charactee development is done well then i will add this to my library.
On a side note, at first i read the title as Daoist Masturbator so i was shocked and did a double take. This is another reason i might add this to my library

Because the summary has been singularly unhelpful, the MC's cheat is this. Basically, he can learn martial arts very quickly, at the cost of destroying the martial arts books he's learning from. For example, he opened eight acupoints in two days, destroying two books in the process.
I'm a big fan of ww so don't get all angry. you do have to admit that qidian has a better website design to read then ww's. support ww and qidian.
