Other reviewers are expressing concerns about Mad Snail's update pace. I can't speak to that, but the story itself is a hodge-podge of half-formed ideas. It reads like the author had a bunch of ideas for a story in a VRMMO and just sort of sprinkled them onto a template without considering how they interacted with each other or how to give any one idea enough focus to breathe.

My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this novel gave me cancer anyway.

Well the book is pretty good, if u like system novels.Ig, but the author seems to love the whole u go into a situation and it continuously get more and more out of hand, like ik why he does it, to make the story longer, keep us "on the edge" and more "interested". But he has done it like 4 times already. And it's just become more and more annoying. I say its poor story development/writting, i want to say the author doesnt know how to write a balanced battle/ event so he does this to continue it. Of course its my opinion. But of thats his writting style, i think im just gonna get tired of him dragging out events.Also I find it interesting how the author keeps having the mc bash his earlier parents because of their malicious behavior to justify joining the church but clearly explained that the church can be just as bad with the divine knights. Like tf, i dont need you to not to join them, i just dont want u saying one is more good than the other, its dumb, fake, and lackluster. I dont like seing the mc make dumb excuses, but rather his acknowledge the fact that he joined the church as a good way to wash his identity and find an organization to be safe it. And if he wants to align himself with the church to do that, then do it, but say thats why ur doing it, not this bs. And the author keeps pushing this message by saying the church can use ur star or what ever to see if ur bad, it didnt work before w the divine knights, and prob doesnt work now. So stop lieing.And if the author will continue doing this nonsense, then i think the story will be executed poorly.Aside from bad character writting, poor story in these events, the world background seems to be alright, ig .... Idk its trial reads after all ...
I just can't get over it. I love it too much I wish I can have all the chapters at once and read it through out the night. This is my kinda novel, I wouldnt mind sacrifising my sleep for it
This review is written as of chapter 70.I am liking the story so far, especially the idea of players starting as Gods and how NPCs will play a major role in the future, not just being bullied and pushed around by players. I only hope that the author will preserve and continue writing no matter what. Rooting for you Author!!!Note: I like the author's naming sense!!! Not like mine :(

I can't believe it. A good novel in Trial Read.First, World Background and MC Character design is very normal and really not relevant to this novel. MC is more like an NPC who plays different roles, depending on the kind of funeral story he takes part in. Most of the time the MC isn't even there, not even as an observer.Why do I still think this is absolutely one of the best novels on webnovel?Because the author manages to create real emotion in me with every short story leading to and about the funeral of really interesting and unique characters.At least I feel that way while reading, in hindsight this novel is full of cliches and stock image characters.But all this doesn't matter while reading, because the writing, and I assume the translation, quality is JUST THAT GOOD!!!If I ever recommend something, give this novel a try. I can't describe just why I am touched so deeply by this, but please please for once, let a good novel pass trial read.
