I usually don't leave reviews, although I like pretty much any kingdom building/sect building novel, this is getting truly hard to read even with skipping and replacing, the last month the grammar has gotten drastically worst, I really recommend hiring a proof reader if your going to continue to charge per chapter until then I may have to drop this one until further notice.
The MC is outrageously xenophobic, constantly referring to non-chinese as "barbarians
Really a very good novel, at first I thought it will be boring just some face slapping but the author has made an excellent work from world background to character design, I recommande it
don't bother reading it 30 chapters are waste it can be completed in two chapter but the extended it to 30 chapters it wasn't of time

*I am chapter 508 at the time of writing this review.Good Story. Lots of pointless maths. Confusing sometimes. Please read this story assuming that it is based in another world, as it has many changes. Most of them are present to make China look better. Now in deep. The translating quality and update is quite good. No problems here. Pointless Maths: The maths present there might be good to make the story feel original and give it more impact. But honestly, most of the readers don't have such deep background in Mathematics field. I myself am from Commerce side and 99% things make no sense. I asked one of my friends who is currently in his bachelors final. He understood few things but even to him, most of it was gibberish. This makes you skip large portion of a chapter. Funny thing about the maths and all the science here is...its not all completely true. I didn't check everything, but did google few fields and theorems. It's not exactly correct. ( I might be wrong as I am a complete noob in this field. But crosschecking did show it was not as he states.) Next is the World. You should read the story assuming that it's an alertnate world. Many major positions have been given to Chinese. Few things have been made to sound better. Like their contribution in some fields. Personally I don't have problems with it but don't believe everything at face value. And for people trying to avoid racism in story. Until now I haven't seen any intentional racist remark except for some jokes. Yes, there is slight racism present but it's almost negligible compare to most other novels. One great thing about this novel is the system. The system doesn't handfeeds the MC, neither he can buy skill books or upgrade skills like in IRAS. He has to study everything on his own. The system just provides the incentive. It makes him figure most of the things on its own. It's quite a relief as the system is an aid and not a crutch. In fact MC himself believes that the system might be from a higher civilization or future, as it has all research in its database. Plus the way the system asks him to research on his own and draw its own conclusion, MC even assumes this to be some sort of graduation test. Until now their is no super tech or something like monster factory. Although the MC is genius its in the range of understanding. He doesn't pumps out next generation technology every few months. So don't expect timemachines, spacships and such things anytime soon. As of now his focus is on fusion reactors. One major drawback is his interaction with the family. It's dull and extremely borin, making you want to skip those parts. Following it are the interactions with departments, government, and other academicians. It's extremely dull. That's it for now. I might change it later as the story progresses. Cya.
I'm 18 chapters in and I already know it's a bad knockoff of the inbred child of Martial God Asura, Library of Heavens Path and Tales of Demons and Gods. There is one more novel that I'm getting really strong flashbacks about while reading this novel, just can't seem to put my finger on it. Like, "Goddammit I've read this annoying crap before."The character is overly arrogant. Villains are so one dimensional. MC defeats a typical villain, the villain gets help from a stronger villain, who after being gets help from an when stronger villain, rinse repeat. This is all I'm getting from only 18 chapters, so just think about the amount of bad writing this is. And yes do not forget about the fact that art current rate, it's gonna take 15 yrs to translate this novel.Do not read.
I love this story.It has a refreshing feeling all over it. A good vibe.I see myself waiting everyday for updates. Of course it has a few cliches like any other cultivation story, but as someone else pointed out, we , those who have read quite a few of this type of novels, have already saw all the tricks and is hard to come on something new.The MC is smart and I love it. Full packed action, and a interesting storyline .I just wait for more.Review made for the first 60ch.
I started reading it because of such high votes in daily voting system and then 3rd in power ranking. But man was I disappointed. This web novel has serious issues with plot armor and plot holes that it just ridiculous. I normally am an easy going reader and normally ignore such inconsistencies, but here its borderline insanity. Whatever MC wants he gets it by random event within next few pages. Also maybe this is specialty of this Monster World that MC was ported to but everyone there is so DUMB, don't want to get into details else it will involve spoilers. Also character depth is almost nil with everyone else except MC are simply one dimensional . Last but not the least translation quality is sub par with so many mistakes but that can be overlooked as translators are releasing at such a fast pace.My advise do yourself a favor and stay away from this one or you will also start doubting the ranking on Qidian(like me), thinking that maybe they are rigged as there is no way that such poor quality work can be ranked 3rd.
