Starts out good but goes downhill from there.
First world is good he fights hard, he gives his all and he earns more because of it.
after that its just relying on cheat and some past accumulations to grow.
The use of his own resources is poor.
Small spoilers after this point:
He is a cancer scientist in his first life, and through that he learns how body, genes and all that work.
but here we see that after that its as if he has no such knowledge at all, he becomes another cheat based fight and concur the world junkie.
Then we are seeing by his third world he is starting to accumulate a harem as well.
Just idiotism.
Those who are new, kinda-new might like this, but those who have been reading a long time, this might not be that likable.
This tells the story of a guy working his way up from poverty with incredible luck and perseverance (mostly luck). There's no cheats or skills as he just tries his best. The prologue kinda spoils his ending and this novel is more of a slow burn. TBH there's little to interest anyone and I personally could get past the 4th chapter.
at first glance it looks like a romance but its not rather its a bit of comedy and a bit of thriller along with the system... everyone should at least give it a read for first 20 chapters atleast.
I have read the current available chapters (20) and so far I am enjoying the read. It’s the standard weak to strong trope with a system to aid his development. The system is actually sentient and sounds rather interesting. So far he has a goal, the usual one to be better than everyone else and be recognised, no apparent love interest, though the girl he saved may become one but that is purely speculation at this stage.
The idea of the house being his avenue to success is something I haven’t read before but it does appeal, especially when he mentions there is over 40 rooms inside so there is a lot of room to grow in this story.
Anyways, it is early days and I would recommend this to readers to support and follow.
TLDR : the story is ok with confusing or adlibbed power structures that can change on a whim. Where I stopped being interested is when the love interest expresses she’s going to cuck/NTR MC and MC doesn’t really care other than to zone out convo. The female love interest said it would be another female ….if that makes anyone feel better.
The author writes situations and then jumps further in the story to back track explaining what happened. It’s not the most fun way to read. The author also leaves huge gaps for you to contemplate the meaning of what happened and what was said. It does not work the best for reading translations. I think the author just assumes you understand what jumps they are making. The females in the novel all cultivate the “ruthless method.” so they kill most emotions or can jump from relationship to relationship experiencing life to help cultivate easier. The MC love interest has a dual cultivation method. I don’t know if it’s bad translation or not, but it seems like she has to have other partners to increase her cultivation rank. In later chapters, 134, the female cultivator even says she’s going to “seek out and express her feelings to sister Sun”. The MC even hears it but doesn’t even comment on it other than asking what she means. Which she does not answer. Then the MC zoned out the rest of the convo.
i like cultivation books and system books most and this is the combination of both.
it is a promising book with a lot of adventures and fun. looking forward to it
