I don't what you have edited and not... but I see there is no more requirements to rewrite the first seven chapters. It simply keeps people hooked and have suspense, thing I liked the most is that the gaming dump wasn't included in first few chapters. Like it's annoying but your story is vivid and full of emotions. I have a lot to learn...keep up!
I stumbled upon this story as I was browsing. And I was surprised to see the quality of the work.The language is very poetic. Amazing. The writer took a lot of effort to carefully create the world, the character, and the fight scenes.It is a completely different setting - in ancient Japan. Usually we see Chinese background and setting or medieval Europe. I think this work will go a long way and entertain a lot of readers.

It is amazing to think about something like dark energy for cultivation and in the real-world we know nothing about it. The most amazing part of this novel is our earth, it seems we will see lots of fighting between different races in the universe.
Is this novel bad? No it's not bad at all, after all the countless brain dead novels out there about face-slapping and horny old men.
Is this novel great? Not really. The author pieced together a bunch of already available elements from countless fantasy novels. The details are sparse in between and some are quite unoriginal.
In short, the novel's above average. It ticks you at some places but still be able to fill your crave for novels.
So don't be picky, bunch of addicts.

At first glance, I was actually hesitating to read this but the cover is hella cool so I tried it out anyways. And seriously, the author proved my thoughts wrong. I'm waiting for more updates!!
Okay so I really like Gourmet of Another world type stories and from the summary I thought that the mc would be feeding literal ghosts on the side, ya know, like a supernatural horror cooking thing in modern times. Spoiler. It’s not. Very sad.
Anyway the story is pretty much placed in a Food Wars parody. Which is sort of cringe in my opinion. They use the same characters and stuff like the school and gourmet associations etc. The MC (a bit like Soma from Foodwars) has a small family restaurant run by his gramps- except the old man literally didn’t teach him how to cook until like a day after he got his cooking system.
The cooking system is pretty straightforward- be the best- and it seems a lot more versatile and useful than some other systems but not too OP. Unlike Food Wars MC doesn’t want to go to the fancy cook school and just wants to run the restaurant. I quite like MC’s personality which is far more active than Bu Fang’s from Gourmet of Another World. He seems more positive and it’s clear that he’s quite hardworking. I’ve read more than I thought I would because I don’t mind seeing his journey as a chef but... the Food Wars references which I thought was a fun easter egg at first became a full blown thing and I don’t know, it’s like meh to me. I’ll keep it around 4* since the pacing isn’t bad, the mc is like able enough, the cooking description is very good and if you can get over the food war thing overall it’s a good read to pass the time.
...I still want a supernatural cooking story in the modern world tho QAQ

another typical chinese mc he is born vampire but to save a human woman and her daughter(total strangers btw) he went on to offend the strongest existence in the vampiric rmpire when he himself was weak and a vampire? its not like the vampires treated him badly or bullied him nah he saw a woman in trouble and his chinese morals took over this story would have been so much better if he just minded his own fricking business
Average translation, horrible editing. In specific, the capitalization, uniformity, text spacing was terrible. The stat screen and all of the ‘system’ stuff was just a mess to look at.
The author can’t do simple arithmetic (what’s new), the novel is underwhelming, and for someone who knows hardly anything about DND, this novel just seemed like a bunch of gibberish.
The TL says that anyone can enjoy it regulars less of whether they know DND or not, but it’s clearly not the case. Most of the text is just info drops or assumes you know DND knowledge.
I don’t feel like spending my time writing a more thorough review for such an underwhelming novel.
tl;dr: terrible novel for non-DND enthusiasts (probably still bad for DND enthusiasts because the author/TL got fundamental DND stuff wrong according to commenters)
