Very good novel! MC is a reincarnated guy in a cripple body, he gains his powers back after some time. He is not a forgiving type, as title may suggest. Relationship with his family (close one) is very good, his parents and grandfather care about him, so it wont be a revenge plot where he runs,power up and kill everyone. Thanks to his newfound powers(they slowly influence him, i dont want to spoil more;p) he dont have a "moral judgment" like typical reincarnated MC on topics like killing - you are in my way, death. Plot starts to thicken after he gains his powers, so be sure to read it:).

Still to early to give a good review but I recommend reading this so far, Like allot of books this one starts out very good and has potential to keep growing but one downfall is almost everyone the mc trusts ends up back stabbing him, it's not that bad yet but I hope the author does not make this the normal trend of the book.

I would've liked to read a review telling me the MC is not faithful to his wife at all. He was *** with this Liu girl, which is abominable. I read about 100ish chapters and I found out the MC has *** with other women other than his wife. I can accept flirting but not *****ery. Not my cup of tea and would definitely not recommend. I HATED this story. The people translating are great but this story is just awful. Made me puke my guts out.

I need to be honest with you guys—the pacing in these chapters is genuinely masterful and I want to talk about why. The author knows exactly when to speed up and when to let a scene breathe, and it's not accidental. Look at the rolling over sequence. It starts with Yong Cheng'an discovering he can roll over, then Bai Quan pinching him under the guise of 'checking his bones,' then the Emperor and Empress turning it into a competition with jade pendants and beads, and then Yong Cheng'an deliberately rolling back to the Empress to give her the pendant. That's four beats in one scene, each one escalating the emotional stakes, and it flows so naturally you don't even notice the structure. By the time he rolls his eyes at the Emperor and turns his back, I was absolutely cackling. But then there's the teething scene, and I'll admit it dragged a little for me. The whole 'let's pry open the baby's mouth to check for teeth' bit went on a bit long, and honestly I just wanted to get to the part where he says 'bad.' The author could have trimmed 200 words there without losing anything. What really saved the pacing though was the dialogue. Every time I felt the scene slowing down, a sharp line of dialogue would snap things back into motion. Like when Emperor Yong says 'An'er looks just like a little frog like this' after pushing him over—that's the kind of line that resets your attention immediately. The chapter endings are also well-timed. Each one stops at a moment of emotional payoff rather than a cliffhanger, which is a smarter choice for this type of story. You finish a chapter feeling satisfied, not desperate to keep going. And honestly? That's fine by me. I like to savor these moments.
