The translation is just terrible .I don't understand why webnovel even bothers to translate a novel if they just post MTL version of the novel.
The writing is quality is superb, the world building is also well written, power system is easy to understand, but the character is just so lame, starting to his decision making and his shounen attitude, he is always being spoon feed. he is an adult in his past life yet his thinking is similar to a child. i cannot continue reading
4.5 stars?! What? Admittedly, this isn't a complete garbage tier novel. However, it is a fairly low tier one. The "comedy", if you can call it that is based on characters acting in an absurdly idiotic manner. The worst part is that the result of the idiocy is more annoying than funny.
It's filled with the usual cliche, such as campus belles, dumb*ss thugs, idiotic friend, and an MC that's like every other one in these kinds of novels.
More problems: The world building sucks, fights don't have enough hype, the parents are absolute morons, the powerups are way too random, the lady starts falling for the MC for no real reason, the MC has a case of situational stupidity, and pacing is awful (author keeps flip flopping between fast and slow pacing in a frustrating manner).
Comparatively, to other novel of similar quality, this one does not deserve the rating it currently has.

anyone knows about it's raw novel name plz tell me
as of chapter 40 the story and powers are great. the horror parts are engaging. im just worried that the mc will be too OP on later chapters. the side characters are fleshed out.
Quite tough to judge this novel, its obvious that many things are lost in the translation, especially in the first chapters, when many important info, mainly about the world setting, are not well-fully presented. Having said that, the translation quality has improved a lot, its actually not bad now.
Anyway the concept is really interesting and well written, the novel has assimilated most wuxia elements and used them in a "modern"-apocalyptic world. The world build has soooo much potential, there is humour, decent romantic relationships, ruthless-kind mc, actually almost everything.
Its really sad that another great novel of chen dong is undermined, this one by the translation in the first chapters and perfect world by its slow beginning and "abrupt" change of mc's character.
It's a good premise, but the author leaves me cringing everytime I see the author force a gag into the story. The author really needs to pick a lane.
Whoever is in charge of this novel has absolutely zero idea how to properly structure or pace a paragraph, or even a sentence. Bad review until the translator/editor is changed or learns proper grammar.
I admittedly didn't get far. Mc just sort made me sick. Like people can enjoy villains but despise jerks. in the first ten chapters I just wanted him to lose. Only he'd not be the one to suffer for it. Mc pick up and draft young woman who's family burnt to death alive as his play peice and proceeds to be the most unthoughtful, sexist guilt tripping obnoxious condemnation of religion I can scarce imagine. He is on every level and idiot and terrible as a person and player about Elise and deeply unfunny. Team Rocket treats Pokemon better than he does Elise.
