This is similar to classic cultivation novels, where MC after being betrayed is reincarnated into the body of a 16-year old prince thanks to a "lucky item". Following the usual trope of underestimated and bullied protagonist, MC is the "least talented" among all his brothers as he had not been able to open his "Mark" and cultivate until the age of 16 (this "mark" has something to do with the favor of Gods being bestowed on the talented). Even after the MC opens his "mark", this is not recognized and the Empress withholds resources from him and bullies his mother. First part of the book is about MC trying to overcome these hindrances and making a name for himself (I read up to chapter 95, but there are over 1,900 chapters. At least the first part is worth a read if you like the classic cultivation novels).

After all, the young should couse trouble as our below 20 (AS THE NOVEL AUTHOR REMINDS US THREE TIMES PER CHAPTER) years of age Mc does borderline idiotic stuff, but heyyy, it's alright.
Power creep is a thing tho. No matter as I try, my opponents are always 2-5 stars higher than me! Even when I reach the "omg so strong, rarely seen elite" there are always dozens of stronger people around every corner! Baffling, really.
But it's ok! I can beat them! After all, during the time they cast their mega dao technique I can wait 15 minutes or so as peanut gallery has a half chapter long conversation how awesome my opponent is and how deadly and fast his strike is - history background included.
At least, my team waifu is also included in power creep!

I think I've figured out why some LN's that are between 30-100 chapters are at the top 20 listing. (Normally it wouldn't make sense) However I'm pretty sure QI is artificially inflating ratings of LN's that are currently/historically popular in china. - To help increase revenue for those authors. If so, then I have mixed emotions. As in, why not just create a top 20 list for China, then have another separate top 30 listing that's accurate currently. Then we can compare different cultural trends between other nations.

This is an extremely well-written story with few to no grammar mistakes(as far as I can see) and has close to realistic world-building.
The only flaw I would say is the lack of chapters.
the only decent novel I saw from this week, other than that theres not much else to say or talk about... so uh yh try it since it gives a pretty funny spin off cultivation simulators where the debuffs are ACTUALLY buffs in a way
Overall, this is a great read. I gave this novel a 5 star because clearly the author has spent lots of time in developing this story rather just rushing it through. I'm intrigued and it's worth rereading. But there are parts that are left unexplained. I'll be following this novel to see if it turns out to be a great work.
this book is so impressive, the storyline is amazing and the narrative is just perfect, I got hooked right away and couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see what happens next as it gets deeper.
Haven’t read this book yet but I don’t understand why villians have harems (saw harem tag) it just puts me off imo would be better if their was no romance or only 1 female lead
