This is an enjoyable novel with a compelling harem, but the ending feels rushed and unsatisfying. The characters who were intriguing to the main character throughout the story, without any deep romantic development, suddenly become part of his harem and bear numerous children. It's disappointing how the author wrapped up the story with a "10 years later" conclusion that falls flat.

God, that too. Although I do love a good face-slapping scenario, but the lack of creativity is too pitiful at this point. Like, it is understandable that political marriages would plague these types of novel but can't they make it more original? It's always revenge via clan genocide. Can't they execute their vengeance in a more unexpected way?
Chinese webnovels tend to be pretty samey with most of the ones I've seen being cultivation novels which I hate. Also if you really wanna be specific it would be more likened to saying "surprising good for a Somalian" since I mentioned the specific country of heritage and not the race

It's not a bad work, but it's bland. The ideas around the novel's world are fun and unique though, making it a bit refreshing.
My main issues with the story...
- MC has an extremely bland personality, and there's nothing driving him apart from the author's forced circumstances.
- Many holes and inconsistencies in the story. Everything felt like a convoluted mess, as if the author didn't do enough (finer-detail) planning in contrast to the grandeur of the story.
- It also gets extremely repetitive. The title is accurate, far too accurate. It just feels like such a low-effort move from the author, and it impedes a lot of the story's potential.
That's all. Basically, it's a waste of potential. The novel is lacking in emotional depth. The plot is interesting, but the depth of the author's planning was sub-par at best. It's enjoyable enough to pass your time, but it's not "one of the greats".
For those with any hesitation in reading this, it may not be the best novel but it is the novel / manhwa that got me and a whole lot of people into the WN & LN rabbit hole...

From a more practical standpoint, for those seeking an isekai journey, this one checks all the boxes without relying on clichéd plot twists. The power dynamics and world diversity are commendable. Initially, it may seem like it could lean towards a harem setup, but that's not the case.
A specific example (warning: spoiler) stands out - the natural and heartfelt discussions between Yuuki and Lefi about love, family, and personal growth, such as when Lefi grapples with her pregnancy and the newfound responsibilities it brings, are emotionally powerful and well-written. Almost every arc features an age difference with the ML being older, and he's portrayed as cold, jealous, and insecure. The MC is portrayed as lazy, with a focus on indulgence, and there's an issue with dubious consent due to ML's possessiveness.
Unfortunately, each arc feels lengthy and uneventful, without offering any significant depth. I've decided to drop this series; it's not worth recommending.
