The main appeal of this story is definitely the looming threats for the main character (Xuan), or Zero, as he finds himself at square-one all over again, while at the same time still needing to worry about the threats that existed to him when he was at the apex. Overall it's just incredibly entertaining to see what sort of reaction characters have towards his existence. I think if one finds the premise interesting they should definitely give it a go.The story starts off with a slow-build up of exposition, which might not be for everyone. However, that's just the start, it quickly begins getting interesting and has a few unexpected twists. The writing quality barely has any errors that I could find, at the same time it's easy to understand, as its been clearly edited before posting. So it's an easy read that won't make one scrunch their face wondering if they understood the sentence or not.The unexpected developments as well as the introduction of what Xianxia online is are quite nice and leave you interested on what happens with Xuan and how he'll approach his looming problems, Since even though everything should be straightforward it clearly isn't. One issue I have is that Xuan is a long-haired cultivator with ashen-white hair and red-eyes. Basically its not anything new, and to be honest it's not particularly relevant, so its easy to overlook. The world is interesting as we get to see glimpses of what Xuan's old life as Zero was, as well as his old acquaintances. I think that's the main highlight. Looking forward to whatever is going to happen between his past and his current situation. It makes for a great hook of anticipation.

There's no repetative plot going bros. And the story is just on another level. The story is very serious and dark, so thinking that it might have some comedy just pass it, the story progress is great. So, its a great story, must read.
I need more. .. Some times these great stories ends in 40 chapters.... Please update more it is a great story to continue

The Smiling, Proud Wanderer is a Wuxia novel by Jin Yong (Louis Cha). It was first serialized in Hong Kong in the newspaper Ming Pao from 20 April 1967 to 12 October 1969.Alternative Names:• Laughing in the Wind• State of Divinity• The Peerless Gallant Errant• The Proud and Gallant Wanderer• Xiao Ao Jiang Hu• 笑傲江湖Translators:• Lanny Lin (Chapter 1 - 21)• HHaung (Chapter 21)• Pokit (Chapter 21 onwards)• Bliss (Chapter 30 and 31)Editor:• HHaung (Chapter 21 onwards)The reason I'm putting up this novel is so I can read it for personal use. I watched the State of Divinity (1996 TV series) and loved that show. I knew there was a Novel of it but never spent the time to look for it until now. Was reading it online but the chapters very LONG and I keep loosing track of where I left off so I came here. Reading it off Webnovel is so much easier especially since it keeps track of where you left off. Unfortunately Webnovel has a 20k word / 100k character limit for each chapter so I had no choice but to chop up the chapters into parts. For those who also want to read this feel free. I am not taking someone else's work and passing them off as my own, full credit is given to the original writer, translators and editor as listed in the descriptions, plus the content of this novel is free online in multiple sources for everyone to read. So putting this up on Webnovel is just for my own convenience sake and anyone else who wishes to read this

It's a great take on what if dabi was in Hunter X Hunter but some nen terms are not correct, overall great story.
the Novel is great,i dont find any major problems regarding grammatical except for some minor problem including typos that i can found every now and then. story development as the author said in hos self review,a little bit slow in pace,i dont mind if u want tl slow some things to build some set up for future purpose.character design, the characters design are great, regarding their personality tho but u can try to polise ur phrase regarding what kind of situation their get that changed their feeling about mc more.updating stability is good enough as long as u dont drop this.world background, for the world background tho,i really appreciate about your slow pace novel but it will great if u can established some important rules regarding the contract first like is there any time limit for the mission? what kind of gift the curse give him? everytime i read your novel i always wondering about that.lastly i really appreciate your similar that have quite similar theme with the old good the world god only knows anime/manga,i just hope that we can see more character development from the mc tho, keep up the good work, author!
Antonius as the MC is different from the real life Antonius II who ruled Byzantium aka Constantinople back then.Antonius II emerged from monastery. This alternate Antonius is wild like Jack Sparrow. and i like it. ???
