This review is at about 375 chapters in, and I will say that this is by far the best apocalypse novel on the site, if not the best novel in general. I am a pretty picky reader, but this novel is honestly among the best in practically all aspects.The writing is top quality and only gets better as the story progresses.The stability of updates is fantastic, and if the author does miss a chapter, he usually gives an additional chapter the next day or some time during the week to make up for it.As some people stated, the story development is a slow burn at first, but it establishes a fascinating world, the power system, and a good foundation.Now, the character design, which in my opinion, is the best part of this novel. The characters all have rich personalities of their own, their own ambitions and goals, and their interactions are becoming my favorite aspect of this novel.For the world background, without going into too much to avoid spoilers, for their world, there has been a lot of focus on their starting area and its development. Still, there has been the development of what awaits them later, and with a few recent things added, there will surely be many exciting things to come in the future.I kept it relatively short, but I suggest giving this novel a try, and you will most definitely enjoy it.

Great start but that's all, seems to have been put on the back burner by author who is writing quite a few other great stories.  With any luck he will catch up in the best future.

Was reading it online but the chapters very LONG and I keep loosing track of where I left off so I came here. Reading it off Webnovel is so much easier especially since it keeps track of where you left off. Unfortunately Webnovel has a 20k word / 100k character limit for each chapter so I had no choice but to chop up the chapters into parts.For those who also want to read this feel free. I am not taking someone else's work and passing them off as my own, full credit is given to the original writer, translators and editor as listed in the descriptions, plus the content of this novel is free online in multiple sources for everyone to read. I honestly loved the characters, the story, the background, the protagonist, and especially the farmer characters. haha They are amazing, really. Mainly loyalty. I love it when in the stories there are people so read, especially when they are subordinates!!!!I saw that it doesn't update for a long time.... It's a pity. I really did. There are few stories that hold me back.

Heyy I've read 2 of your novels..one being saving the overbearing ceo.It's been a long time since I read it but I do remember that I definitely loved it and knowing there's a sequel makes me wanna read it again and I will!!!And then I'll read this novel since I want my emotions for Lin lin and his parents to be highest when I read it(if you get what I mean since even I don't ????)Now I'm off to reading STBC again!!?
