This was the first light novel that I've read and I can say for certain that the story development is fantastic in my opinion, every chapter made me want to read it even more and the pacing is perfect not too slow but not that quick, the story made me have a whole different perspective on life including how to handle relationships and to not take it too slow but on the pace they wanted, this story truly made me appreciate novels, it truly made me happy for the first time and I enjoyed it, I only heard of this because the anime was coming out so I wanted a head start on the manga but there weren't any chapters left so I read the novel instead and I don't regret reading it. I'm truly delighted by this novel. Thank you so much Ghost Mikawa for this incredible story and to the illustrator and translator , I'm thankful for all your hard work
After reading the synopsis and a few chapters, I have come to see that this novel is not for me. It’s just boring and i don’t fine any humor in it

It’ was a good quicks read that kept me hooked from th start all the way to the end the only thing that I could ask for is that it was longer

I have been reading the author's other novel for a long time and he has never disappointed me. This new novel looked more promising than the previous one, I will definitely follow it, especially since the grammar of this novel is very good!
I am the Fated Villain- Truly a masterpiece! Classic Gu Changge will always remain within our hearts. The world building is boundless and is layered quite well so the readers wont find themselves off track of what's happening in the story. If you fed wuxi and xianxia books to a ai and had it make it's own book at least that would be interesting. This is literally copy paste generic of generic plot. Gj author way to be original or put your own spin on it.
This is the book I've been waiting to read since it will finally have a villain to take out all of those annoying, hypocritical CN MCs that we read about all the time. I like watching those irritating MCs suffering
