WilderThings
my review for this novel(im not a hater, contains mild spoiler, I've read till chp 16)
caution: read this novel if you doesn't care for faulty power/combat/levelling system and quite brain dead mc
the story starts with how apparently weak the mc was. due to reason i'll not say, he arrived last at the school when they are giving free skills for first timer, making mc only get the last skill left that is self healing. nothing is wrong right? it was said that people can train to get attribute points and skills. with self healing, the amount of time mc could train the body is many times longer and receive benefit faster than other people, yet he never does this. mc is actually quite a clever kid, he managed to create an arrow almost as good as a b rank wood arrow by using a c rank wood (cost much lesser than b rank wood) + slime urine which is practically free. he also manage fool the guard by selling the c rank arrow at the price of higher than a b rank arrow.
oh so you readers may wonder why do i said the mc is brain dead and the system in this novel is busted right?
now here is the problem, the first chapter is showing how mc, a lv0 human fights a lv1 frog monster. you would see nothing is wrong here right? casual fighting monster 1 lv higher than you right? well, all is well until you see mc damages is only 1dmg when the frog deals like 30 dmg from normal attacks. the reasoning why his dmg is so low from the novels is that mc have no attacking skills (mc have benn whining how he have no attacking skill for all those 16 chp).
but wait, you would think that stats influence the effect of normal attacks and skills. if an attack skill let you increase damage by 10%, with mc damage(that is 1 dmg), he could only dish out 1,1 damage which is way worse than his self healing which can heal his health for quite a good chunk. so the way i see it, he gaining self healing is way better than having attack skills. but than i notice something, you use magic skill by draining stamina? like wtf!! in the novel mc doesn't even have mana. if so, how the f other people gain mana then? its not like there is no poor people other then mc right? is gaining a magic skill unlocks mana? that can't be because he already have magic skills. why don't mc change his skill to a physical one then? he could always barter with other people for an attacking skill outside the school.
honestly, the author is making level gap a big of a chasm. a lv1 monster can deal lots of damage against a lv 0 human is honestly mind boggling. its not like a monster gain 3-5x the amount of stats human gain when leveling up. if his damage is already so low, wouldn't it be better for mc to just chuck rocks from a safe distances using hands or slingshot, at least it reduces his chances of receiving dmg.
besides how the hell mc as clever as he was never tried to team up with anyone else? even if he have low dps, he could be a tanker because his self healing. if his class is his enemies, he could go to other class to team up right? its not like everyone is an evil bullying bastards. he could also report to the teacher that he was close to for all his bullying which he never do. you could argue that mc is a loner/introvert but even i as a loner/introvert could report and ask help from others. he also have a very sick sister, which he very desperate to cure. so there is no excuse at all for him not to team up with others. his attitude for not seeking any help in all that condition is honestly just sheer arrogance and brain dead in my eyes.

Weird. Fascinating. A good horror story with a right amount of gore (not explicit) and all weird stuff that makes you feels uncomfortable as you read more about it. It is just like the title, it is a garlic soup, some people will like it, some people won't, some won't even touch it, some may try for the taste.
Here, takes this solid 5* from me.
a lot of text

Really good book with a bit of mystery and some love in between that mystery, it makes people intrigue, and also it piques the interest of a person to see what will happen next.
This book really gave a different direction to a romantic story and it really fantasizes, the storyline has the vibe of mystery and some unknown factors which makes people more interested in the book.....
I wish the author success and prosperity with this book...
Thank you
Refreshing and very emotionally charged. I am looking forward to see how he wakes up and gains control of the world!! Additionally I love how Aleyria is so filial to her dad. Plus she is so powerful!!
Read a couple chapters before realising the mc is bisexual so i stop reading it, but it seemed pretty good it just wasn't made for me. Check it out if thats your thing
This novel is not my type anymore I don't like it, I can see where this novel goes a demonic hero who helps innocent girls and the author continually repeats how irene is an immeasurable beauty that can even seduce the sky
if you want to read something lewd and funny, this novel is for you... i love the mc he is smart, funny and very op... its new novel so its don't have many chapters... but hope we will get more chapters soon...i love the other novel which called snake evolution system... written by same author ...
I will be honest, I didn't give the summary much thought and tried this story. I couldn't get past 4 chapters. Only after reading first few chapters did I realise how absurd the story setting was. MC was trapped in a cave on first day of game and was in there for 1000 years. After he came out he immediately remembered his novice mission. All the time while being trapped, his biggest worry was he would get left behind in game.It just shows that author doesn't know the weight of a 1000 years. Also while being alone trapped in a cave. That amount of time would destroy him. Even if his body was okay, his mind would die out cause it cannot keep working in extreme despair for a 1000 years. He would be brain dead.Yet when MC came out, he was perfectly normal and first thing he worried about was game. Author could honestly choose much more believable circumstances. It's like he didn't even bother his brain to spend some cells thinking about this story. I can honestly just imagine what the future quality would be.
Generic. MC could be replaced by a pokemon and it wouldn't make a difference (like it can launch magic attacks, it has levels and practically just keeps repeating its name) not to mention the boring enemies it finds everywhere it goes. There's a girl in the story, or it could be a Ditto with a female name that's hard to say. The pokemon league must be somewhere in chapter twenty it must be when he starts hitting others before going to another continent to look for more people to hit.
Honest review time! 1. Writing Quality is great. I didn't find any difficulty in understanding what author wants to convey. 2. Updates are stable. No issue there. 3. Story Development is fine too. I don't see serious issues there. It has a touch of mystery which has been handled quite well. 4. Okay, character designs have some problems. First of all, I don't know how Zachary and Odette look in general and how they look in different scenes. They are good characters, but they feel a little empty, of course, it could be due to author using two MCs instead of one due to which each of them didn't get proper screen time. 5. World Background has not been fleshed for now. But giving 5 stars because it is only the beginning. Overall, it's a good novel with engaging mystery and even depicts mental illness which only a few dares to explore
