Yi Ping shouted at him as he ran towards him, "Get behind me!"
A calm December night drive, I was lost in emotion and I could have lost my life.
Lyzza: Hey there! Get ready let's eat outside, my treat!
'So basically, I'm at school with nothing... There's something wrong, it's not possible! I don't even have my bag ! '
Yep nobody ever writes anything about the families.

"Where are you hiding? Come on out here!" the voice shouted causing Ichigo to stop mid-stride with his eyes as wide as dinner plates.
-Good we're making progress as well as my men . Follow me to the power station.
Of course, she didn't know about what he was thinking. If she knew about it, she would snap at him for sure, turning from a timid mouse to a fierce queen. She talked to him, more like she only talked when she needed to reply to his question. Most of the time she would only smile, just a polite smile towards the young man while sipping her drink.
I entered and Principal Mahogany motioned for me to sit.
His mind had to fight his primary instincts with everything it could.
Okay so let me just say this: the premise is genuinely clever. Xu Xiaoyue is supposedly the cannon-fodder supporting character in a novel, but she's clearly aware of the plot — she even mentions skimming through her own ending earlier. That meta-awareness changes everything. She's not just surviving; she's strategically navigating a story she already knows the shape of. And the Yan family? They're not the cold, rejecting household the original plot probably painted them as. Liu Ye goes from suspicious to warmly accepting in basically two scenes. The mother pours her own water. She gives fabric coupons without being asked. She even defends Xiaoyue against Hu Hongyan's insults. That's a whole different vibe from what the source novel likely had. The real plot twist though — and this is the part that made me sit up — is Yan Shuli's lie about picking her up. He never went to the station. He was with Zheng Jiaojiao the whole time. And Xiaoyue KNOWS this. She deliberately doesn't expose him. Why? Because she's playing a longer game. She wants to be genuinely accepted by the Yan family, not tolerated out of obligation. So she lets him save face while quietly securing her own position. That's not a passive character. That's someone who reads the room and plays the angle. And Zheng Jiaojiao — the supposed female lead — is already showing her true colors. The coat incident? She saw Xu Xiaoyue washing a man's coat and immediately starts fishing for information. Her innocent question about the coat reaching her knees is pure sabotage dressed up as curiosity. But Xiaoyue deflects it perfectly with the father's keepsake story. The original novel probably had Zheng Jiaojiao winning everyone over with her kindness. Here? She's scheming from day one. The plot is flipping the script hard.
