To be honest I expected this story to be terrible or for the grammar and plot to be all over the place. And for that I do apologize I did not expect for it to be a hidden gem. As of chapter 9 where you have written up to for us readers to enjoy the story is flowing very smoothly and while there are a lot of cliches, they are put in such a way that even though we know them they are actually enjoyable to read. I'm definitely looking forward to more from you if you are serious about this story and don't drop it or start to rush your chapters and give us half baked nonsense. Then this is looking to be a new favorite of mine. I saw you had no reviews and since I've never reviewed a story I thought hey why not do a first for the both of us. You have a great story here and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Have fun and for anyone reading this I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Friends, do you know the kings avatar? I do. It is the glory of my lifetime. I'm looking forwards to meeting Ye Xiu's mentor! Trust in master butterfly, he delivers.
From the start this story made no sense,If you're wondering why.I think there's something wrong with your head......................,.................
my first impression of this novel : "d*mn what kind of book is this? martial art gamer? how can that be !!! this must be a joke ! "after I read until latest chapter : " D*MN WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS ?!?! REALISE MORE CHAPTER !!! HURRY UP !!!! "
can this be considered mass- release? i mean a day with 600++ chapswhere will you find something like this ? roflmao...
it is one of my favorite novels. the whole Order and having a judge for cultivators is a great idea, and the author puts lots of thoughts into each character and background . if you read about a character, you will know at least a little about his motivation and background, and I really enjoy that. so you have an original premise and regular updates, good character design and background, and the author writes well. so you won't like this novel only if you don't like the genre.
it's a great novel can I know if it's dropped
This is one of the very few novel where the MC is (most of the time) sick or disabled and mostly unable to slaughter the God and Buddha and defeating someone outrank him. The use of teamwork is emphasized and other characters other than MC actually have personalities. This is in accordance with the writer "tropes" which is also the reason why I love (most) of his works. Rather than the usual lucky-genius-protected-by-bazillions-plot-armors, our MC is in constant (and believeable) perils. There are lots of death in this novel but because the author way of fleshing out personality of non-MC character, we actually feel a tinge of sadness for every deaths, even the enemies.TL Quality: 5/5A top notch translation team. A typoe here and there and sometimes gramatical error, but none will distract you from immersing in the story world. A constant and stable use of naming so we get an easier time to remember most if not all characters in the story.Updating stability 5/5A tad slow but a very stable release. Really hope that the ranking is getting better so our TL Team get more Qidian Currency that they deserve.Story Development 5/5One of the reason why I love Fang Xian works. Our hero is fleshed out in a natural and believeable way. There is no sudden upgrades or meeting the old guy in a cave. Not even the usual finding one of the kind treasure which enables the MC to instaslaughter the enemies. Our MC literally and figuratively put his blood and tears for his developement, not for a revenge but because a very ****** and humble reasoning. Later on, he gained a new reason and drive to improve himself, which is presented by a heart-wrenching scenario. A good timing of humors here and there. A good pacing in the arc(s) development. Also a real sense of achievement for all the progress we foundCharacters 5/5The characters in this story are well developed. They have personalities and a proper drive to strive for better. There is practically no "Evil Mastermind" who unreasonally evil. There are lots of politics though. We can't even really hate the enemy factions because they also have their reason to survive. Those overused arrogant seniors bullcraps are very rarely used, and even in the very small number that we find it, they are presented in a logical way of how actual human being acts.World Background 5/5Avalon world building is top notch. The basic "science" is logical. Things happen in a reasonable nature. Maybe because I have read the predecessor of this story (World of Cultivation) I have some kind of bias. But I personally think that any kind of readers who read this story can immerse themselves in the world of Avalon. In the end, it is all about taste. Some of the readers, of course, love those kind of selfish-genious-lucky-MC who have a bazzillions of harems and a warehouse of ancient one of the kind artifacts. Our MC, doesn't even have any artifact, constantly in a debt, and have only one love interest. The love story is truly believeable and reasonable, as it grows step by step as how reality works. I believe, the readers who are tired of the usual niche of single-MC-who-wiped-all-enemies stories will love Fang Xian works in general, because it involve actual politics, human interactions and reasonable plot armor.
Passable, and cliched. Author tells, rather than shows, which means you don't really get immersed in the story. The translator has probably heard of the full stop / period since they use it in the middle of paragraphs, but every paragraph ends with an exclamation mark, which is pretty jarring but took me about 20 chapters to get used to.
I'm up to date on the raws. It's not great. MC get's a busted ability early on and author has no idea what to do with it. It theoretically has a drawback, but not really so he just gets OP system+ OP talent and facerolls everyone. The main antagonist is contradictory, because he's disproportionally dumb(Like, if he was as dumb as he's written there would be no way he had his cultivation base). Main heroine is an irrelevant plot device. The biggest atrocity is the cultivation syatem. It heavily references Honghuang/Prehistoric, but doesn't explain, so if you didn't read source material you'll be confused af. Then author decides to give the borrowed concepts his own twist and power levels get absolutely incomprehensible.
the only thing i can say about this novel is the story is not a bout a villan actually the mc isn't a villan at all he's even better than typical good guys , the protagonists of this stories always trying to harm mc but mc just take it as it is & don't want to attck them , don't even try a single time to finish them off & say later that it's quite tough to get them he's just a good guy who take beating from the protagonists that's all
