The story is good the background is also good but it feels like around chapter 35-40 the author got lazy. The translations is very confusing and the translator keeps repeating words trying to make up the word count so that the chapter will cost more points to unlock. This would have been an entertaining read if it wasn’t for the laziness of the author and translator. Im dropping it after spending money, I already saw what I needed.

Love the way author explain the world. Has a good story with good character. Actually want to drop when the mc bcome slave, I dont like slave troop because I hate seeing mc enslaved, but glad I keep read it because in the end mc didnt feel become slave at all and literally stop being slave after. Very recomended
the writing was good overall. Just dont like the plot and the MC. Dont get me wrong its just matter of preference.

The Exposition and writing are pretty alright. After that there is a sharp decline where the author blatantly pushes MC into classic situations. He coincidently gets made fun of so he can slap people's faces. He coincidently gets pushed into making a harem. You get the point, endless feel good Chinese webnovel clichés.
I really enjoyed this detective story; the author has done a great job of creating something with potential. It's an interesting story and a great treat for fans of the genre. Keep up the good work and make sure to update it frequently!

the author was not lying when he said it would be slow paced, I'm 27 chapters deep and i can't build up any motivation to continue reading.
