Awesome novel. Truly a gem for me.
What I like most about it is that the MC doesn't dependent on his superpowers. Neither is he defined by them. Just his intelligence alone is enough. Finally an MC that uses his brains more than his brawns. Even when the situation calls for brawns, he doesn't disappoint.
Though some of the MC's actions are controversial and you might not agree with them, at the end of the day, you can't help but be impressed by them.
Surely a novel that would get you hooked.

The main character is horribly he uses the fact that he is a cultivator to ignore things he could easily solve saying that he is above mortal problems hopefully it changes in the future

Honestly, I'd probably enjoy this story more if I hadn't read Outdoor Webcast first. This feels like a big step down. It's still a decent read, but the main character in this story isn't nearly as entertaining. The whole thing about how hunters are portrayed is kind of weird too. I'd rather see Outdoor Webcast come back even with it's weird Chinese medicine stuff at least it was done in an entertaining way.
Cliché af. Plot armor is very obvious as he gets things right when he needs it. To me the world building isn't realistic at all, imagine if there were a group of people you thought less of gaining higher status and power like if there were African aristocrats in the 1700s. It is painfully obvious that there won't be much setbacks for mc and he would just continue getting more op without much work.
I don't like this novel because it's too racism and too underestimating other people who are not from Chinese and I hope this novel is deleted by webnovel.
Let me start off with that I really enjoy this novel, and have fully caught up atm, 200 chaps. I personally enjoyed this novel much more than others because it keeps a lot of mystery and draws my intrigue. This is due to the main character.
The author has written him completely differently from other mc's in other novels. Just as you think you're going to understand him and his actions, it will change. I think this aspect is what sets the novel apart from others, as it feels like you know the mc but you don't understand him, which means you don't fully know what he will do at all, and it's always a surprise.
Another great part of this novel would have to be the world it's set in, as the mc goes to many different places. All the places have different rules, and sometimes even different 'laws'. The author being able to create so many new environments, and journeys through them I have to praise. Most places arent explained fully until afterwards, making me understand the reasons for certain occurrences in them. This is even so for where they are rn (chap 200), on a strange train, however I find this mystery refreshing from other novels where you never have to guess, or think much, with authors just giving everything to you.
One of the main premises of the story is the most, and how it affects the mc and people around him. We don't know what it exactly is, however one of the mc's companions knows many things that he doesn't explain.
All in all, it's a complicated novel, and i feel that that can put alot of people off, but I prefer the complexity after reading so many generic, martial arts / cultivation novels. I would recommend this novel to those who enjoy mystery, and a breath of fresh air.
I wish the author could write more often :(, because I'm constantly waiting for new chaps. Anyhow, I love this novel, and keep up the good work author
The author has crafted a very rich and full world in which to place their story. The writing is quote good, and you find yourself zooming through the story, not wanting to pause lest you miss something. I've never been the biggest fan of these dungeons and dragons in real life-style adventures, but the author carries it off and sets a breathless pace for adventure.
Finally, a good looking book filled with mystery just how I like it. I really love how the story progresses.. I haven't read most of the chapters but I know this will be a good book
