It is difficult to judge from a single chapter, but from the Cultivation Manual and the first chapter rhe novel seems pretty interesting, specially how the technology has been devolved and how the people use older machines to work. It is also nice to read how the culture and the general happenings of the world are indirectly mentioned in the novel.All the best!!!
Loved this story. It was a great read, most esp seeing as its not what I'm used to.The story line was good and the chapter length as well.The author did a great job, although there were some errors here and there. But what can I say, nobody is perfect.
Having watched the anime and reading the manga I finally decided to read the novels, and boy did I wish I read them sooner. They are written really well, and explain a lot of details the anime glossed over or never really explained at all. The only thing I found weird about the novels was that Lisbeth, Yui and most of Sacchi's arc were all in chapters after the clearing of the game, and not naturally woven into the story. However, each of their characters is fleshed out and given more emotional motivation for their actions in the novels than in the anime.
Good story lots of interesting skill combinations and upgrades ,also I suggest u combine the similar chapters to take the time to change between chapters but overall the story is awesome

I really liked the story, especially since I read the authors previous stories. Up to chapter 40 translation is good, but after chapter 40 translation becomes similar to mtl. I don't have patience to read such translation no matter how much I like the story. If someone knows where I can read this story with good translation please post in comments.
Disgusting. Way too much idiocy and talking nonsense. I mean, after all the build-up for yet another tournament, there's three chapters of talking rubbish before anyone even throws a punch? I get that the author's getting paid more by putting more words up, but this level of fillers is ridiculous. Also somewhere along the way, I got really annoyed with the main character. When I found myself rooting for his enemies to beat the crap out of him, I realized I really shouldn't be reading this any more. I'm out.
The author of this novel needs to be sued for copying word for word from the novel " most generous master " like he did it so openly that it's crazy....If you don't know what write then just quit, writing isn't for everyone.
Everything is so vague and nondescript. The character development, the antogonist, MC's abilities everything. So, it makes it seem long and boring.
Sorry, just couldn't handle it.I'm sure it appeals to some people, but been there done that.I just couldn't get into it at all, given that a lot of the descriptions of LA and the USC area were highly inaccurate. Throw in a hard on for black people being the bad people and actually having discriminatory power over asian people and I just couldn't keep reading. From the other reviews it also seems he's going to keep regurgitating classics with his own twist on them: again, been there done that with IRAS which got insufferable.Good luck, but this one's not for me. I highly enjoyed reading Plague Doctor though. Hopefully that continues.

This is one of the best Novels I've read on this website and I would love to continue reading if the chapters weren't paywalled.really the only thing that bothers me, is that the fights and enemies are getting more and more unrealistic with anime stuff that wouldn't exist in the real world. I think the story would've been 10x better if the Author stayed with his realistic Martial Arts approach but that's just my personal opinion. but I'm not going to pay money for Novels on qidian.I don't know how the contract looks but maybe change to a website that relies on ad revenue or something.
